Great if you are into this kind of thing!
This is fairly well made, comes in a pouch and attaches fine to a Canon camera. It works as advertised but the item doesnt really justify the massive price tag (RRP of 300GBP?!) - it really doesnt have that kind of quality feel to it you would expect to pay that much. I looked around and even on Amazon the price for this item varied a lot. So while 90GBP isn't cheap it felt like a better investment. As for use, I think with a DSLR you are going to want to use a lens with a shorter focal length than the one I have - 180mm doesn't feel as useable as a 90mm lens would.

Solely for long lenses
It works well for 140+ mm lenses, for anything wider you'll run out of space (the bellows will be too compressed). Which kinda defeats the purpose in my case. I was going for a bit wider portrait views or landscapes, but this limits me to details. Having known that before, I wouldn't buy it.

Poco pratico

Works beautifully!
Does the job beautifully and incredibly easy to use. I attached a body, in portrait orientation, to my 4x5, focused using the camera's live view mode.and snapped two rows of five shots. The shots were directly imported into Lightroom (tethered shooting) and then merged to panoramic in Photoshop, saved back to Lightroom and with the image cropped (2:3) I got a beautiful 95 megapixel shot. Literally just a few mouse clicks.I've shot in landscape orientation as well with similar results. It's really easy to attach, refocus and take a series of shots. For certain subjects, it's so easy to use, I'm using it instead of my Polaroid back for test shots for exposure and composition. The only drawback when used for this purpose is the refocusing but at this price I'm quite pleased.I heartily recommend this product. I wish they had one for the 8x10.
