Great organizer with lots of functionality
Solid piece & well-constructed. I will admit there is a slight sway if I push n the cabinet too much, but I think that's simply a product of most of the connections in the middle being made with wood dowels. I am happy with the quality, the look, and how it went together. It will take a little more than an hour if you're putting it together by yourself & you will want to make sure to follow the instructions as written, but I had no trouble & no complaints. Very happy with this purchase - it was exactly what I was looking for to help get a spare bedroom organized.

Great shelf
Great shelf! The cubes are large and hold a good deal of stuff. I bout 3-13” storage bins and they fit perfectly. This was also pretty easy & timely to put together. It feels sturdy.

Looks great
After measuring overflow appliances and cookbooks, I found a shelf module that would fit nicely on my quartzite countertop. The color is perfect. I was sure the honey color would not match my cabinets so I opted for grey. It goes very well with my countertop. Although it is cheap particleboard and was pretty flimsy when I put it together, I expect that if I had glued it it might be more sturdy or the edges might swell since the particleboard has quite an open structure. I expected particleboard board but this is particularly cheap board. Be careful when assembling as the pegs can mar the finish, which I expect is vinyl, as you slide them to the holes. Having said that, it looks good. I'm not sure how long it will last. It claims to support 40lbs per shelf. I'm dubious. I'm hoping that since the shelves are only 13ish inches wide, the capacity to sag will be minimized. I'll do my best to be careful with it and hopefully it will last because if I assemble it, I wouldn't know how cheaply it's constructed just by looking at it.

Great for Montessori Toy Rotation
I bought this cubicle bookshelf to use in our Montessori-style play area, and it’s perfect for rotating toys weekly. The open cubes make everything visible and accessible, which helps my child choose independently and put things back on their own. It’s a great height for toddlers, and I like using baskets in some cubes while leaving others open for books and activity trays. It keeps the space organized and clutter-free. Assembly was straightforward, and while it’s not solid wood, it feels sturdy enough for kids’ books and toys. We anchored it to the wall for extra safety. Overall, it’s an affordable and practical option for parents creating a simple Montessori-inspired setup at home. Very happy with this purchase!

Extremely Cheap, STAY AWAY
Where do I start? I guess let me give you a little information about myself. In the last 10 years between my house, my families houses, and a few friends houses, I've built about 40(ish) IKEA and IKEA style pieces of furniture. I'm the type of guy to put wood glue on the dowels to give things a little bit more oomph. This is, without a doubt, the cheapest, nastiest, and flimsiest piece I've ever built (and I've built some 30 dollar Target furniture). First, I will give them some credit: all the pieces were there and there were 2 extra dowels. Thats it, every else about this was horrible. Out of the box, the pieces had hair on them and some parts had black scratches. On top of that, I figure that the extra dowels are for how cheap and easily the ones they provide break. I've had maybe 3 or 4 dowels break on me in the past combined, with this one I broke 3 of them. The particle board they used was also so poor that with your fingernail you could scrape it off. Did I also mention that they didn't make all the holes? Ya, I had to make holes because you could see where some were started but never finished. Then assembling this wobbly mess by following the instructions only leads to a nightmare of a build if you go at it alone. Trying to center everything, while it makes cracking sounds from the cheap dowels snapping from the weight of the cheap particle board, is a huge pain. I had to add my own screws on the sides after the 3rd dowel broke just to finish the build. What a nightmare. PLEASE dont buy this product...

Perfect for 13 inch cubes
Instructions easy to follow. All parts were there. Packaged so there were no scratches or dents. Holes all lined up. Arrived on time. I'm a grandma and was able to put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. Of course, for the price, it's not solid wood, but it's still quite heavy. My 13 inch cubes fit perfectly! (Hard to find one for the 13 inch cubes.) The color wasn't terrible, but what you'd expect from a cheap piece. Made in Malaysia, not China. May get another one for on top of my dresser when it comes back on sale, so yes, I'd recommend it.

Simple tips for assembly
This is a great solution for the 13x13 bins that Ikea sells. TIP: put this together EXACTLY as drawn. I'm a 57 y.o. female that put together the 6 cube Bookshelf by myself. I had success when I laid the shelves out on the floor crisscrossed - as drawn - and used a wall as my second person to hold one side up while I managed the other side. This is constructed to be initially loosely put together on its side. The cube will strengthen itself when the sides are put on and then tightened in the last steps. Hope this is helpful to my fellow ADHDers. :) I appreciate that this cube holds the larger bins - rather than just the11" ones. It's lightweight and stylish and a good value for the money.

I like it but would not buy another.
I have no doubt that the issues I had assembling this is that is is the 12 cube version. I have assembled hundreds of pieces of furniture over the years and this is the only one I had trouble with. The middle sections are all just held together with dowels and the entire thing is very wobbly - breaking several dowels and damaging several shelves when the shelf came apart. The only stable connections are the sides and top - making it difficult to line up the interior shelves with the outside (top and bottom) sections. There are 8 shelves - 2 with 4 dowels and 6 with 2 dowels. No where in the directions does it tell you what to do with them - or even that there are some dowels longer than others. I finally decided to attach one bottom and one side with hardware provided and then build up each section without one side. I did use a few clamps to keep the doweled shelves together until it was entirely put together. On the plus side - once assembled it is exactly what I need. It is a particle board like construction for the outside sections but not heavy like particle board (that is a good thing). It is nice looking and seems sturdy even though it is just held together with dowels.
