Skeleton Key

I was a little concerned about the cast zinc construction, because there's a risk of breaking the flag in a difficult lock-- that's why I went ahead and sprung for the 2-pack just in case. The key is a little long for my cabinet locks, but it works just fine and I'm very happy to find something that does the job!The given measurements seem off. I lost key to a desk cabinet. This works perfectly. The key yo selecting the correct key is to note if the lock need a barrel tip key or not barrel tip. Mine needed the barrel tip and it worked perfectly.

I bought a 1940 or 1950 secretary desk at an estate sale. The key fits.

Works in all the locks on our antique side by side secretary’s desk. Wish the shaft was just a little shorter. As you can see from the photos it doesn’t rest flush because the shaft is so long.

The key to an antique cabinet was missing. I think my grandson ,who sometimes sleeps in that room, was playing with it. I panicked, because I couldn’t open it. The key to the grandfather clock worked so I found this key online, which seemed to match. It works just like the original.

Can’t express my delight in finding this key to unlock my antique secretary desk! Then to receive it and it finally opened after like a year when I locked it with the wrong key and it wouldn’t unlock it. Well made key, very sturdy and matches the metal on my desk! Excellent!!

After reading the reviews, bought it hoping it would fit a vintage piece of furniture with a similar type lock. However, this key didn't work out. If you're buying it to open an old lock, try and make sure you know this is the key you need.
