Tiptree Passion Fruit Curd, 11 Ounce Jar

This is so delicious. I have bought it multiple times because it's so yummy. A little goes a long way so you don't need much.

I like the idea but the tang isn't quite there.

My first review was rejected because it focused solely on the fact that the jar was not securely packed, so it was damaged and leaked all over the box, and I did not address the product itself. That was fair. So here it is: the curd is perfect, sweet, tart, buttery goodness. It's wonderful on toast, waffles, shortbread cookies, coconut cookies (the hard, flat kind), a spoon - you name it. I usually have some on toast or a toasted waffle with my coffee in the morning. I intended to say it was too bad that I'd never order it again due to the terrible packing job (it was just loose in a large box with my other two items! Do better, Amazon! At least put it in one of those plastic shipping bags so that if it leaks, it doesn't get all over the other items.) But the curd is WAY too addictive to not order again. So here goes Amazon's second chance. Wilkin & Sons Ltd doesn't need a second chance; they got it perfect on the first try. Here's hoping this time I get a full, unopened, undamaged jar!

I'm actually a huge fan of Tiptree products. The quality, flavor and price are wonderful, and I love being able to easily purchase my favorite Tiptree preserves from Amazon. But I've experienced serious problems with my last several orders. Specifically, I've repeatedly received incorrect items and jars with unsealed lids. My latest order not only included the wrong items (again) but a shattered jar, resulting an injury to one of my children. All the incorrect product I've gotten has been mislabeled (ex. order passionfruit curd but get lime labeled as "passionfruit" on the sticker outside the bubble wrap it's rolled in). Also, jars get one thin layer of bubble wrap each and are tossed loose into oversized shipping boxes, which is inadequate and not well done, IMO. There's a no-return policy on these products, so each time there's an issue, there's the added inconvenience of needing to call and report it for a refund (which has happened so much recently I'm legitimately concerned my Amazon account may be flagged for fraud). I want to keep ordering my Tiptree but am starting to wonder if it's worth it.

This one is delicious like the lemon.

I love this product. It's not intensely sweet with a hint of passion fruit. Easily spreadable.

The quality of the product and packaging was fine, and Tiptree is a good vendor from whom I regularly buy marmalade. I love passion fruit and thought I’d try the curd—but sadly, I didn’t like this. It had an odd, artificial/cooked aftertaste that I didn’t like at all. It didn’t taste at all “off”—I just didn’t like the taste. Had to throw it out.

Está muy bien, de acidez, cremosidad y dulzor, no sabe a yema ni a mantequilla, sabe a curd de passion fruit.

Buen sabor.
