SteelSeries QcK+ Gaming Mouse Pad-SK Edition

It looks great. It is so large, I slide my laptop half off of it and support those two feet so I have plenty of room to use it as a wrist wrest and mouse pad. It also makes a great non-conductive mat to build a computer rig on! Mobo fits right on it, bet you never thought of that.

Well, I had looked at another mouse pad that was 10" x 12" and I had that dimension in my head--- then I ordered this one as I simply liked the logo and I completely overlooked the size and had it in my head it was 10" x 12"... at 15" x 17" it is BIG. I had a standard mouse pad before and it had a dead spot in it with my optical mouse--- don't know why, but it did so I needed a new mouse pad. I also prefer a trackball, but for work I for some reason I prefer my Microsoft wireless mouse over anything else. Huh. With that and besides the dead spot, I wanted one that was larger and that I would not continually fall off the edges.... now the last laugh is on me.... at 15" x 17" and the fact it takes up a lot of real estate on my desk.... I could not be happier.Needless to say I never get near the edge and fall off, there are no dead spots, and it looks cool. The one problem that was mentioned was that it curls due to being shipped rolled up--- my resolution was to order it during a 95-degree heat spell and have it bake in a UPS truck for hours on end... with that mine unrolled and laid flat the minute I put it on my desk. I have read about putting it in the dryer on low heat for a couple of minutes to warm it up--- basically that is what happened to mine.So besides the small surprise of it being big--- it feels good and works very well. It will be very handy as one design program that I utilize often is very wide and this will resolve my above mentioned falling off of the edge.

First, pay attention to the dimensions of this pad and I would recommend to measure out the space on your desk to get and idea of how much real estate it will take up. For me, it covers the entire right side, which is not a problem, just worth taking note of. In fact, I guess it's kinda nice since you no longer have to worry about hitting the edge of the pad. If I hit the edge of the pad now, my mouse will be on the floor.As far as the surfaces go, I find them to be fairly standard. The back is nice and tacky, so it surely won't move around on you. The top of the foam pad is pretty smooth and my laser mouse has no problems with input on it. The reason I give only 4 stars is because I expected something a little "more", not sure what, from one of the leaders in gaming surfaces for mice. Overall, it's huge, pretty neat and it works fine. The only handicap it could have is if you do much LAN gaming, it would be a lot more bulky than other thin pads to pack up and tote with you.

Pretty annoyed right now. I've been sent the completely wrong item, the SteelSeries QcK+ SK Gaming Limited Edition. This pad is different than the one pictured, in that it looks stupid. It's blue, not black, and in the middle there is some HUGE pointless logo that says "SK Gaming, Since 1997". In using this, I'd essentially be mousing over a magazine ad, that's the impression I get. I'm returning it now.I've no comments on the feel of the pad, because I didn't even bother opening it.

This mouse pad is ridiculously large and hangs off my desk so I had to trim off a significant amount for it to fit correctly on my computer desk. I have a large computer too so that was not the issue. The price was a bit steep as well for such a simple mousepad.

I didn't get the whole mouse pad cover , it came in a flat box which I totally didn't expect , I expected it would come in a cylinder box just as it comes , and would be having a couple of stickers in it and nicely packed and all , but it came in a flat box like a pizza with nothing else.

Simply marvelous. It was a lot bigger than I expected, but I adjusted to it and after nearly two years of nearly nonstop gaming, this wonderful mouse pad has become as important to me as my mouse and keyboard. It practically turns half of your desk into mouse-able surface, which is great if you toggle to low DPI in games. If you have the desk real estate, this is the best cloth mouse pad money can buy and at a good price too.

I ordered this mousepad because my old one was deteriorating. And well, I like to show my support for Natus Vincere. Though I'm glad that I made the upgrade. The mousepad is amazingly durable and I feel like I'm going to be using it for a really long time. The printing on the front is high quality and doesn't seem like it would flake off like other mousepads I've used. For years I've been using your common rubber, low quality mouse pads. This just seems to feel a lot different from the others.The only small drawback I have is that the thing is huge. I thought it would be the size of a regular mousepad, but this sucker is massive. It was able to cover most of the front of my 24 inch monitor, but there were about 2-3 inches of free space on the side. So if you're going to buy this make sure you have space on your desk. Otherwise, go for it. I can't recommend this product enough.
