4 weeks after installing the pond pump and filter I have crystal clear water. It was easy to set up and everything needed to install was included in the bundle. I really like the cleaning feature on the filter box which keeps the system running efficiently. It’s economical run and performs well compared to the all in one filter/pump unit it’s replaced.

**5 Stars – Very Happy with This Pond Pump** I’ve been using this pond pump for a few weeks now and I’m really pleased with it. It keeps the water circulating well and my garden pond looks noticeably clearer. The UV light helps control algae effectively. What I like most is the clever filter handle – a simple turn clears the debris without any need to take the unit apart. This makes maintenance quick and easy. The pump runs quietly and seems well built. Installation was straightforward. So far it’s performing reliably and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Excellent piece of kit - well designed and made, easy to set up and use. Our (very) old filter setup could not handle a bigger pond with more and bigger fish, the water got very murky so it was time to upgrade, and this puppy is just the job. Water is clearing although not yet crystal, easy to draw off dirty water whilst cleaning the filter, which then goes onto the garden, the plants love it. A definite 5 star item. The accompanying pump is very powerful, a bit too much so for our setup but makes an excellent submersible pump for garden water management.

Cracking system, been in place now for a few weeks and even in a oversized pond is starting to clear. Be clued up with what your doing prior to buying, and have a few spare plugs to hand if your not hardwiring to a switch. It came with everything needed and only took me an hour to setup, tho pump required me to spin the rotor before it worked but thats normal for motors. Great bit of kit and would recommend for any small/med sized pond

It’s the first time I’ve used a pump and filter kit on this scale. I have a 3500 litre pond and believe this PFC 5000 pump and filter kit to be sufficient for my needs. The operating instructions are a wee bit basic, but I suppose for anyone who is familiar with this type of set up will find it easy to work out.... Up to now it appears to be working well. I have a raised walled pond with around a 1,1/2 mtr lift to a waterfall that produces a good flow of water. The filter is sat next to the pond and the pump itself has been placed on a raised support of bricks about 6” off the pond floor. The pond water is very clear up to now, however I did have a major clean out before I ran the system. I’ve found the 5 mtr hose supplied to be barely long enough for my own particular set up, so had to purchase a further 5 mtr role to be comfortable.... Up to now find this to be a good decision, but time will tell if I’ve made the right choice!?

Great piece of kit, working really well and cleared the water in about a week, never realised how many fish are in the pond.

A good value set. Everything arrived undamaged and a day early. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the quality of the pump and filter were better than expected for the price. I had it in place and working within a couple of hours. The water in the pond was fresh so it didn’t have anything to filter, however I’ve now introduced 30 goldfish and two weeks later it’s still crystal clear. I can’t comment on the cleaning action as I have yet to try it out. All in all I’m very happy with my purchase

I’ve bought a few pump and filters from APS they’ve all been great and long lasting. This does the job and is good value,might have to upgrade to a bigger one though if my fish get any bigger. I have a 800 gallon pond with a mix of koi and shubunkins and this is keeping it clear.
