I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this mirror. The size is perfect. Comparing to the rounded one, I think this is a perfect size for carrying in my purse every day. The light button is conveniently located on the middle. The mirror is much better looking than it's in the picture. However, the plastic material does look cheap after wearing in my purse for a while.

I absolutely love this. I have to put creams and drops in one of my eyes many times a day. This is very helpful to me in that regard. I was a little confused when i got this about how to turn the light on. I don't know if there was a manual or something that came with this that I threw away, or if it was obvious and i was being silly. i asked my partner to see if he could find it, and he turned it on right away. one of the sides has a button built into the hinge area.

The mirror does not magnify as much as I thought. I guess I did not read the description well.But the light is blinding to the eye especially for a compact mirror meant to be used for the face.I end up putting it on my bedside table and use as a flashlight when i need to get up in the middle of the night.
