I love how easy these ESP32's are to use and how powerful they are. I started out with Arduino's, but now I'm in the process of moving all my projects over to ESP32's!

I'm using these to run WLED & LEDFX and they work great! I didn't need the development boards for this project so I unfortunately can't give any opinions on them, but I'm sure I will find a use for them in the future. All 3 of the ESP32 units I received are running WLED/LEDFX with no issues at all.Great product.

I originally posted a negative review about this product. I have found a resolution on why this chip was not connecting to WLED. In order for this chip to connect to WLED, you must have the CH340 driver installed. Unlike many other ESP32 chips, this one uses CH340 and not the CP210 driver. I was able to connect to the chip after installing the driver. So my main complaint about this ESP is the lack of documentation related to the pinout. Adding that would have made this a much better experience.

If you’re using a Mac it won’t upload if u use a usbc to usbc. But on pc it will. On my pc if it’s in the 5v jumper it will just crash my computer. But overall it’s a good value.

Using for Temp and Humidity with added DHT on Home Assistant works well took a few tries to upload to it. One other thing make sure you have a good USB Cable not all are the same if you can't connect try different cable.

Bought these boards for a CNC Plasma table. They are easy to flash and BT works as designed.

The ESP32 work flawless, the dev board is okay. The usb C in on the board doesn't seem to have protection, I overloaded the port with my LEDs and now it doesn't work, but it didnt burn up the esp32 so I guess it does kinda have protection on the usb c port. I would have preferred a current limit on the port instead of burning out.Over all a good product worth the money.I am amending my review, I thought on the first one that I blew up the usb c on the dev board, however none of the boards usb c port work to power the board. I tried the others in the order with nothing connected to them to try to use the USB c, none work, the micro usb and barrel jack work fine on them.

I use them a lot. The only con is the three rows of pins on each side are +V G and Signal - I’d far rather they were all three Signal.There’s lots of choices on these boards which makes them adaptable to almost any need. I didn’t expect them to be so useful but I’ve bought more to have them.The esp32’s otoh are just esp32’s, no need to buy them together.
