Writing this as a former dental professional. (this by no means makes me an expert) I was a huge fan of the OralB Pulsonic. It was a small, portable effective brush with all the bells and whistles of the bigger brushes. When mine finally died after 10+ years i came to find that brush was discontinued. After an exhaustive search, this was the only rechargeable portable brush i could find that i felt could be a decent replacement. It honestly was better than i expected. It was so inexpensive i feared it would be junk; it is not! The small size is perfect for my everyday and travel needs; the fact that it can be charged with a phone charger is a bonus and i love the travel case that also helps keep the brush drawer clean. More importantly, the brush head is wonderful! I was used to the round brush heads with the previous brand i used, which is pretty great at getting all the tooth surfaces. The Philip's brush heads are shaped like a regular toothbrush, but are so much softer than what i was using before. People don't realize how much damage hard bristles can do to one's gums if you aren't a gentle brusher. It's the reason other sonic brushes have a flashing red light feature to let you know when you're using too much pressure. The 2 minute timer with 30 second and one minute prompts are exactly like what i was used to as well. Been using it for close to a month now and haven't needed to recharge yet. The soft brush head is also holding up. It's not as powerful as other brushes, but unless you have a ton of plaque or stain, (no judgement) this is should do the job and is a steal for under $20

Baby's first electric toothbrush!
As of now, they're almost perfect. I travel a lot between me and my boyfriend's house and it's just so convenient to have an electric toothbrush with the cover. The amount of brushing I can do on one charge is absolutely insane -- can you tell this is my first electric toothbrush? Hahaha. I'm sure there's better options out there but for the price, it's fine. I wish the bristles were a litttttttle harder but honestly, that's more of a nitpick because this is the cleanest my teeth have ever felt. I have small gaps where plaque has separated my teeth and where food get stuck and after using this ONCE, it's like the food just slides off of it and never gets wedged. And for me, as someone getting my life together currently, this is very valuable to me. It can handle being constantly tossed around in my purse, my backpack, my bf's bathroom, my bathroom, and everywhere in between. And girl, the color is cute!!

This toothbrush was absolutely horrible. Please do not buy this.
I bought this tooth brush to have while out of the country for a month. the attachment doesn’t stay on. It’s 100% inoperable. And now that I’m back in town I can’t return it because the window has ended. Please do not buy this.

Great travel toothbrush
I travel international, and It can be hard to find a toothbrush that's compatible with dual voltages, and then of course there's one more charger to carry with you. I love the fact this charges from a USB cable, and you can just plug it into your computer. Without the case it's the size of a normal toothbrush. In fact, the travel case is probably a weak point. I don't even bother with it. I figure I'm rinsing the toothbrush head underwater before I use it anyway, so not overly concerned about germs or dirt. And how many of us put our standard toothbrushes in protective cases anyway? What I think would be better is just some kind of a cover for the actual bristles. Some of the other sonicare's have this. I've only tried this a few times, but to me it works just as well as my larger sonicare, although I agree it doesn't vibrate quite as fast after you use it once. To that end I would say charge it after each use. The battery is a fraction of the size of the larger sonicare. I ordered a couple extra heads, which I believe were $10 for two-- a fraction of the full-size sonicare. Overall I'm really pleased for the intended purpose, i.e. for travel. For daily long-term use I'm not trading in my full-size sonicare. Update: I used this for just shy of 90 days in Thailand, and it performed flawlessly. I think I charged it four times in that entire time. One other nice thing about this brush is unlike the Pro model I have at home with the stand that plugs into the wall, there's no buildup on this. The so-called pro-modern makes a big mess of my sink counter, and in general there's a big build up of tooth paste that leaks through the head. And since you're never completely getting your toothbrush dry, combined with hard water there's a huge amount of calcium buildup. That just doesn't happen with this brush. I would say there's a slight difference in speed from the Pro model, but I can't really say there's a significant difference in how clean my teeth are, as I tend to use this like a regular toothbrush and don't just hold it against my teeth. Overall I really like it. I'm ordering a 2nd one.

This Is Great for Travel
I travel a fair bit and missed my electric toothbrush when I did. So I got this for the travel kit. I still use my Philips Sonicare at home and it is slightly more powerful but too bulky to travel with. The Philips One (this item) is scarcely bigger than a manual toothbrush and does a much better, more satisfying job of brushing. I've actually taken it backpacking and raft camping, it's so compact. I've not actually run it down far enough for it to require charging (after a dozen or so uses I just charge it again) but it seems to hold a charge for quite awhile, and one always has USB-C available to recharge.

Great for travel
I need to use an electric brush at least once a day to keep my teeth in tip top shape. My full sized Sonicare is too big to travel with, so I bought this one. Last week was the first time it went with me on a trip. Did a great job and the charge lasted the entire week. The paperwork says it lasts 60 cycles, but I have not used it that much yet. Overall, very pleased.

USB micro, not USB C…returned
Charge connection is not USB-C, it’s the much older USB micro. Products returned (I purchased 4 in different colors). USB micro is no problem unless you want to carry/keep track of an older cable in addition to your USB-C cables for your other devices. The toothbrushes returned were old versions of the same toothbrush I purchased in June 2025 (probably why they somewhat misleadingly advertise and generically state ‘USB’ in the product description). My earlier purchases of this toothbrush were all USB-C charging connections…even though those toothbrushes were purchased a few years ago. Oh, and these toothbrushes really are not that great anyway. Don’t expect the brushing quality of your regular Sonicare toothbrushes. The brush heads vibrate, but not that much. It’s just a much more expensive version (by a factor of 10x) of an Oral-B toothbrush. Yet the Sonicare has a brush head that I find to be of much less quality than the Oral-B or the free ones my dentist gives me, but the Sonicare is a toothbrush that vibrates and comes in a travel case….

Proprietary plug, no stand, so so performance
This was a replacement for an older Phillips toothbrush on which the power switch got stuck and it would no longer turn on. It lasted just over 3 years which isn't really impressive so I did not want to go back to that model. This looked like a reasonable replacement. Having used it for a week or so I can say that on the plus side, it's small and compact, and it does brush teeth. However, overall, I'm not impressed. The proprietary charging cord requires a USB charger which is not provided. That's fine, but why the proprietary connection to the toothbrush? Don't expect to simply replace the cord should it get lost or fail! Then there's the fact that the charging port is on the bottom of the brush and the bottom is rounded. You can't stand this up on it's own. As a result I've ended up keeping it in the provided case all the time. I expect to be cleaning the case on a very regular basis as a result. Make the bottom of the toothbrush flat, put a USB C charging port on the side, please. The thing does seem to work fairly well as an electric brush. The provided bristles are very soft and I expect the brush head to require replacing on a regular basis. I'll update here if that does not prove to be true. Over-all, this thing is not as powerful as older models and I will not likely be purchasing anything in this model line again. I'm also loathe to pay the prices Phillips is asking for it's bigger siblings so this may be my last Phillips toothbrush after many years.

Every day toothbrush - improved charging! YAY!
Love this, purchased 4 of these now. A set for my husband and I when these first came out and now these new versions as the older ones died. The older versions had a cable charger and rubber bottom that came off to plug them in...big flaw because it was not tight or flawed and after use and storage upright it clearly over time got wet and no longer held a charge. The charging system on these new versions is MUCH better and I loved the tooth brush so I'm glad they have fixed it, invested in it again and has not disappointed this time. We use these as our every day tooth brushes.

Watch out for the proprietary charging cable!!!
I loved my Phillips One rechargable toothbrush so I bought my husband one in a different colour. His showed up with a totally different charging cable. Mine has a USB-C to USB-A cable. His has a proprietary connection to USB-A :-P. Now we have to make sure he has his original cable with him when we travel. It would be a lot more convenient to have had a USB-C to USB-A plug in like mine had!!!!!

Not USB-C
I bought this toothbrush to replace my previous one that failed after 11 months. The previous one was rechargeable through a USB-C cable, which meant that I was able to travel with one less cable. Phillips decided to switch to a “razor type” cable, meaning that I now have to travel with yet another cable. Come on Phillips, you’re better than this. Most electronic devices are able to properly waterproof their charging port. Why can’t you?

Replacement heads readily available
So I ordered the wrong replacement heads for my toothbrush twice. Then I ordered this toothbrush to fit the wrong heads. Fits perfectly. Excellent work Philips.
