Adore beautiful flower decorations in your yards? The Amethyst Falls Wisteria plant is the perfect perennial option for you! With gorgeous flowers that have a high fragrance, a fast growth rate, and easy maintenance — what is not to love? This butterfly attracting bush is the perfect addition to flower beds, containers, or you can even prune it into tree form. Wisteria is not an evergreen and will lose its leaves over winter to prepare for dormancy. Plant these hanging vines along a trellis, arbor, or fence to assist in growing with a support system. Similar to bougainvillea, honeysuckle, jasmine or other flowering vines. Prune the trunk in late winter or early spring to encourage a tall growth rate and get it growing more in tree form. Wisteria trees are easy to maintain and will provide gorgeous splashes of color during the active growing season. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbird will flock to your garden in no time! This wisteria is an american hybrid and non invasive unlike its varietal chinese counterparts. It will not spread or take over! These climbing bushes can put on 3-5 feet of growth per year when given the proper growing conditions. Be sure to plant outdoors in full sun as more shade will hinder the flower production. These are not grown from seed, but from cuttings in our green house. Does not ship to CA, AZ, HI, or AK due to agricultural restrictions.

Strong, Healthy Amethyst Falls
My Amethyst Falls Wisteria has been in the ground for a week now and I am a very happy camper. The plant arrived very quickly (nowhere near as long as the estimated arrival time shown on Amazon - obviously the fastest ground shipping available) with the packaging in good shape. Upon unboxing I found the plastic pot showed signs of impacts from shipping including a rip in one side. But other than some soil shifted a bit to one side on top of the pot everything seemed OK. The plant had healthy leaves and moist soil and generally looked in great shape.I immediately put the plant into the ground having dug the hole the day before. The soil where it was going was just middle of the road stuff - not much clay, not much sand, not a lot of organic material - just plain ol' dirt. I did mix five pounds of worm castings into the soil to give it a bit of a boost. The plant came with four obvious tendrils about 10 inches long that I immediately started training along the supports I had in place. I thought I was perhaps getting a bit ahead of myself with the training, but I wasn't. These tendrils grow an inch or better a day. You can look at them in the morning and come back in a few hours and see how they have moved around or curled around a support. One thing I noticed is that, at least on my wisteria, these things always take a left when curling around supports. I guess that is called counterclockwise, but it depends on your point of view. Looking from back along the tendril toward the leading tip the tendril always curves left - wraps around the support counterclockwise. I was surprised since one video I watched said just the opposite, but that wasn't an Amethyst Falls. So watch yours and don't fight the way it wants to curl around as long as it is going in the direction you want.

Looks Amazing!
The wisteria arrived in just a few days and very well packed, the 3 gallon pot was held down into the bottom of the robust shipping box with a large zip tie and the pot itself had some packing paper over the soil and was inside a large bag. This kept the soil very moist and in place through shipping and the plant itself looked to be very healthy and still quite perky even after just removing it from the box.The stems are about a half inch thick at the bottom and are very sturdy, and there is tons of foliage and even flower buds already on the plant. The photos attached are from just 2 days after receiving it and the vines have already begun to grow and buds have begun to open. I have been very impressed by the quality and speed of the shipping and the overall condition of the plant, I would highly recommend!

Very nice and arrived a week early.
5/7/25Arrived a week early in good condition. Only some dried up leaves and brown leaves. It was definitely a 2 gallon and it came with a plant holder thingy for it to grow on. It was kept moist, so I would assume it shipped from a relatively close state to mine. It is in fact a wisteria and I know my mom will make it grow beautiful. I got it for Mother’s Day. I recommend buying them in May cus they are blooming at this time. For the price and a plant this big it’s definitely worth it!

Not Happy
I had 2 Wisteria plants sent to my mom for Mother’s Day and I was SO DISAPPOInTED to see pictures of what was sent. Both plants have multiple snails on them eating most of the leaves( they put them in quarantine so they don’t get in their garden) and some of the leaves that weren’t eaten are wilted. Not exactly the ,I love you , message I wanted to send.

Sad
I was disappointed when this plant came. I had really high expectations for it as most of the reviews where good about this, but when the plant came it looked crispy. The leaves where all shriveled up and dry. The dirt that it came in wasn't overly dry but it wasn't wet either. I don't know if this plant is going to live or die but I'll wait a bit to see if anything comes of it.

Beautiful plant but smaller than expected
The plant showed up in a square box and thankfully was still in good condition. One of the bamboo supports had fallen off in transit but the other one was keeping the plant protected. I was surprised at the size of the plant since it is not a one gallon size plant. It is .25 to .50 gallon at most. Plant is healthy so I'm giving it more stars.
