Functional because I can slip the leather bit in a front pocket of my jeans rather than stuffing a clutch of keys into a pocket.; the leather loop or fob is simple yet put together securely, and the leather is supple, which seems to make it stay in one's pocket with a clutch of keys hanging out--all good things. And the key ring is good quality. all this for about $4.50 a fob. I like these so much I'm going to order another two-pack. These leather key fobs are good products. May have to place a second order. The price and quality are too good to pass up if, like me, you prefer simple, functional devices. In fact--I'm on a roll--these key fobs are to key rings as Johnny Hartman is to the Great American Song Book: Absolute performers. No card-carrying (?) existentialist should be without one, two, three...

I have been using this type of key holder for over 40 years. If the leather strap was a little thicker I would have given it 5 stars but I am sure it will hold up for quite some time which makes it a good value for the money. Also, I can't find these anywhere locally anymore.

A dangler will allow you to carry your knife lower and let it swing out of the way when you sit down.Search Amazon for "dangler". After you recover from sticker shock, come back and purchase this. The leather is sturdy, evenly colored and the rivet holding it together is strong. Clean edges to the leather. Fits my 1.25" belt with room to space, and lays flat. Good product and I would buy it again if I ever needed it - although I suspect the only reason I would need another one is if I lost it (and its companion, since it is a two-pack).

Bought for my husband and father. It's better than the metal belt clip because it doesn't ruin the integrity of your belt. Loved it so much, my husband asked for another one to keep on not only work belt, but weekend/everyday belt as well. Purchased with key clip do he could keep it on belt and just detach keys at leisure.

I am really amazed by the quality. Got these for myself and my husband and he loves it too. Being able to hang it on a key hook saves us space and we always know where our keys are. And also this genuine leather smell is just irresistible. I think, this can make a great Christmas gift for both men and women.

It seems OK, but I can't fully commit to trusting these to hold my keys. I think a screw would be better than the rivets

Good quality hardware and real leather. It was a bit dry, but after adding a bit of leather conditioner, it is very nice and soft to the touch. I like the thickness of the leather, it seems about right.
