An absolute dream!
My husband is originally from across the boarder and absolutely loved this (a fathers day gift from the children). Looks and tastes homemade, really delicious and dangerously moreish (it didn't last long!) Brilliant value for money and the jar it came in was in perfect condition, was just like the jars you got in the old style sweet shops where they'd weigh out the sweets. If you're a tablet lover or have never tried it before...buy this, you won't regret it. Enjoy.

The Best Scottish Tablet & I've Tried Them All 😀
I order this jar of Athole Handmade Scottish Tablet every December as a Christmas gift for myself lol. The jar contains 2.268KG and the best before date is usually the middle of July the following year, which gives me about 7 or 8 months to finish it and I can guarantee that the jar is empty well before I have to worry about best before dates. I love Tablet and have tried many different makes and homemade recipes but I have yet to find one I like more than Athole.

Very nice!
This is delicious; seriously good confectionery. However, watch the price. At the time of writing it has risen by something approaching 40% in a couple of months. I'll buy again only if I think it's good value.EDITI think the price must have been an error as it was reduced within days of my original post. Definitely 5 stars now instead of 4.

Great Taste - and lots of tablet in jar
This is lovely tasting tablet - not the soft kind but really nice not messy.Bought it to give in gift bags to our over seas visitors
