I don't normally write reviews but I was really impressed with this unit that I felt compelled to help others. If you have Audi TT MK2, this is the best fitting unit for your car. The harnesses are all plug an play - no wire splicing needed except for the power to the aerial antenna. Unfortunately, there are no instructions for wiring but all plugs only fit in one spot with one exception. Keep in mind that there are two 6 prong connectors that can fit to one 6 prong slot on the back of the unit. Use the one with 2 RCAs and and another female 6 prong and plug into the end of the unit. Two RCAs are for the rear speakers and the other 6 prong cable plus into the cable that goes to the CANBUS decoder. Steering wheel controls work correctly (volume up/down, next/previous etc.). Screen is nice and bright and 8GB RAM helps with the speed of the unit. It powers on quickly. Wireless CarPlay works well. The only small con is that the antenna adapter is not powered and Audi recommends a powered/amplified antenna. Not a huge deal. You also don't get removal keys so you will need those. There are YouTube videos that will guide you through the install. Search for Xtrons Audi TT MK2. You can likely find these cheaper on AliExpress but I wanted a guarantee of Amazon if I didn't like it.

Checked voltage in black yellow and red wire and the unit won’t start.

Product works well with Android and IOS(apple) but mic is not great I have people tell me that my mic is low at times. My main issue is the radio now doesn't stay in place after a month and a half after installed it slides down. Wiring it first seem difficult since it comes with a bunch of wire harnesses but figured out eventually how to wire it

Just installed the unit, it works pretty well. Just make sure to give the amplifier 12v. Also the unit is a bit tricky to fit into to housing, and seems to slide down a bit

I bought this to put into a project 2009 Audi TT to replace the stock radio. I first went down the normal path of Jensen, Alpine, etc but stumbled across Android units as car radios. After doing my research and picking this one, I am pleasantly surprised at this unit. I've never installed a car radio and did this in a matter of a couple of hours (learning curve). The unit is very responsive, the UI is beautiful and very user friendly. It does take some time to understand everything in the setting (I couldn't get my clock to display the accurate time, time zone kept reverting back to China). I ran into a serious issue when I was testing out YouTube and now it won't exit, so I am assuming I'll have to do a hard reset Overall, this is a good unit, Be prepared to do some research on updating the firmware. Other than that the unit is awesome. UPDATE***** I've had this unit for almost a year and have noticed some ongoing glitches. The biggest one is the mic issue. It is low and it's described as me being in a tunnel. I also want to know if there are any updates for this unit and cannot get an answer from the manufacturer.

I had to swap this radio out 3x, I might switch a fourth time.

Radio would be extremely useful if these two functions worked seamlessly. (1) Lower latency, if I go to listen to a song the song shows it’s playing and then 5 seconds later it actually plays sound. There has to be a way to fix the latency issue or upgrade the chipset so that Bluetooth functions are more smoother. (2) Apple CarPlay (the main reason I purchased this device)! My phone will connect via Bluetooth and I can listen to music perfectly fine. However ZLink does not connect to my phone. My phone gets the circle of death when trying to connect to the head unit and never connects. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and still no resolution. Otherwise this is potentially an amazing device to upgrade the look of your cars interior to bring a more modern look.

It fit great and came with wiring for both normal and Bose sound systems, I’ve had it for about a month and it still works great, car play is very fluid and it’s 8 gigabytes of ram are amazing, it is noticeably quieter than the original headunit but I did some research and you can go into the settings and make it louder, overall I love this unit, steering controls still work too, 2013 Audi TTS
