Solid Construction. Works well with watertight fixtures, pvc, and liquid tight flexible conduit for outside applications.

Quality you would expect.
Box is great, does not rust, paints easily, but there is a little room for some improvement.The plastic 'caps' that you would put into the unused holes could be a little beefier. Also, not a product issue, but make sure to seal them with silicone or spray sealant.The come with the typical 2 tabs, but I would like to have 4 available.

Knock-outs in the back permit flush mounting.
The previous owner wired a florescent lamp directly from a wire exiting the ceiling in my bathroom, then build an attractive box to enclose it. When the ballast went bad, I decided to replace the florescent fixture with an LED fixture. The new fixture was shorter than the old one and had its own AC cord, so I needed to add a junction box to connect the two sets of wires together. The space was narrow, so I used this rectangular box. I was pleasantly surprised to find two offset "knockouts" for screw holes in the back so I could mount this to the ceiling. (I say "knockouts", but I had to drill them out.) The waterproof lid (sold separately) completed the assembly and it is fully functional and attractive.
