Great little electric tea kettle without breaking the bank. I use this thing almost daily. Boils very quickly, easy to clean, and one button operation with an auto-shutoff. It lights up when heating, so not only does it click when it's done, but the light also turns off. Stainless steel boiler plate with a glass bowl. Very strong and sturdy. The glass will be hot when boiling, so keep out of reach of kids, but the handle is perfectly cool to the touch and safe to grab. It's also not too loud when boiling. You will get residue buildup on the boiler plate and glass over time, but all you need to do to get it off is put 2 cups of water and 2 tbsp of white vinegar in the teakettle, boil, and the residue comes right off. Great value teakettle.

Received this electric kettle as a gift for Christmas. Loved it so much we bought another for our condo. Quick to boiling, removable top, the glass kettle itself is wide at the top for easy cleaning, and just for a Cool Factor, there are small blue LED lights around the bottom perimeter that light when the water is being heated, so it looks just like it is on a gas stove. Don't know how long it will last, but it is GREAT so far.

I honestly feel as though this kettle heats my water much faster than just 3 minutes. I'd walk out the room and walk back in, In like...1.5 minutes? MAYBE 2 and the kettle is off and the water is sitting. Waiting for me to pour a cup of tea. The price is much lower than I'd expect. I do notice while the water is heating however, It does make a very audible sound. Doesn't bother me at all but first time use, I looked around thinking something was wrong with one of my other devices, something else or the kettle itself which was hilarious. Overall, love this kettle.

This teapot is wonderful. It makes about 2 cups and can also be used to steep tea leaves to make the tea in the pot. I don't make mine in the pot because when I read the manual it did say that the tea could stain the pot and has special instructions on how to clean it. This electric tea kettle heats up in less than 2 minutes.

This electric kettle is much better than heating up water in a cup. I use this several times a day. I have a French press for coffee and I drink a ton of tea every day. This kettle is easy to use, always ready, and heats up quickly. Just fill it up and press the lever on the side. It is loud enough to hear in the next room but that just tells you its heating up. Once the noise is gone, the water is boiling. I get 2-3 uses each day out of one fill. The kettle shuts off automatically EXCEPT for under this condition: make sure the water is at least at the minimum line. I have turned the kettle on a couple times without looking and at least twice it has stayed on and kept boiling (I have had it for about 3 months). The handle becomes too hot to touch. I have not let it boil so long that it goes dry so I cannot speak to the auto dry shut off but if you don't have water up to the minimum line and you turn it on, it might not turn off, will keep boiling, and the handle will get super hot. So pay attention to that. I have had no other problems with it.

Do not hesitate if you’re looking for a great electric kettle! This one arrived quickly and is so easy to use plus is space saving! I love my cinnamon orange loose leaf tea, this pot works perfectly for that. Takes less than a minute to boil, led light feature is great. All you do is fill with water, turn on and that’s it. If your doing loose leaf tea, add to the infuser while water is boiling then let it seep for 3-4 minutes.

I drink a lot of hot tea during the winter and got tired of using the microwave to heat water. Not big on single-purpose appliances but this cost little enough to justify a flyer. It gets a between half a liter (minimum) and a full one (max) of cold water rocket-hot in minutes (I could use it as a vaporizer) Has pretty blue lights when heating, so you can see if it's on from another room-. It auto shuts off when done. No idea how easy it will be to clean-- but it's a glass pot with the heating element in a sealed container on the bottom. Can't imagine tit will be too bad to clean. My big complaint?: The tea infuser is difficult to slide on and off-- and the metal is so flimsy that I know it's gonna fold up like a pop can pretty soon. Wish I had bought this without the useless frill and saved $5 .

Intelligently designed and made of quality materials. The water boils quickly and the infusion container is roomy and long enough. Very easy to clean. A pleasure to use it !

I had originally purchased the one with the fancy temperate "controls". I found that it was an unnecessary added feature that did not work very well at keeping the tea hot, so I returned it and got this plain one. If the tea gets too cool, I just turn it back on till it's hot enough to drink. As with any of these kettles that you make tea directly in, stains eventually appear on the stainless steel bottom. I like the fact that you can fit your hand right inside to clean the bottom.
