Great value for the money it helped with the boring white controller that I have had for three years! It looks and feels like a new controller the color was spot on the grip feels good! All in all if you’re not afraid to take apart a 200$ controller I recommend this for sure! Everything functions as it should.

Fits great, easily installed if you have the skills. Comes with a tool kit that does everything you need but you will need tweezers. Everything functions as intended after assembly. Feels better than the original shell. Seems as if it will hold up just as well as the original shell. Nothing makes it seem like the durability has been compromised. A win for me!

Installation was easy, unfortunately you do need a heat gun and tweezers to successfully install the front grips and and touchpad. Im only giving 4 stars because the shell isnt perfect, there are minor gaps, which can be a problem with dust in the future but doesn't effect functionality. the place where the front and back meet at the end of the grips is slightly off, which doesn't effect anything but it bugs me.

Cool look, BUT it comes with to many little pieces, no directions & the tools they give strip some of the screws. If you use , don’t cover the whole controller. No reference video either. Took me 2 days and several broke pieces to get it right. Buy at own risk.

This shell was a major cosmetic upgrade for my DualSense Edge over the bland OEM white on black scheme. I did keep some of the OEM parts for contrast, and had no issues mixing the new parts with the originals. My only complaint would be the lack of a rubberized grip on this shell, so I decided to stay with the OEM grip. The install was not difficult for me with the video tutorial, but it may be more challenging for people without any previous experience in electronics customization/repair.

The show looks great on my door since edge controller, was very easy, but I am experienced with these type of things. Decided to keep some things original as it looked a lot better to me. (touchpad, PS home button, Pad, buttons on the right). Took me about 45 minutes as I’ve never done a door since edge. Amazon indicated that the return rate is high on this, but I believe that’s because most are inexperienced with disassembling and reassembling a controller. The door says edge controllers are much more technical than the standard. PS five controllers overall very happy with the product! My only complaint is that the back shell does not have the rubber grip that the stock controller has.

It’s made pretty well for the price like all of their other shells. The soft touch feel is also nice when holding and still allows you to grip the handles without worrying about it slipping or dropping. My biggest problem is how flimsy the back piece is when clipping in because I snapped two of them (one of them was a replacement) and after I finally got it to go on it still didn’t sit flush like it should’ve. Another issue that all of eXtremeRate’s shells have is the paint has already started rubbing off on the grip areas and I’ve barely even used it for maybe less than 5 hours total.

Purchased for my dual sense edge controller and put together by my boyfriend! It took him about 3 hours and he had no problem w the parts. He is quite good at following videos so the time taken was relatively speedy. The orange colour is great - a solid orange similar to a creamsicle. We didn’t use all the parts and kept some parts black. Great part is we can switch it back whenever we want !

So I brought an Orange and Blue case for my PS5 Edge controller, when it arrived, I followed the instructions/videos provided to install my controller case and when I was done, my controller ended up not fitting into the case correctly. I have no idea why as I followed everything perfectly and didn’t struggle to take apart and reassemble.

Extremerate for the win. Clear videos online to assist. Got stuck with the triggers, but now I'm a pro at it after redoing it multiple times Looks fantastic, definitely doing more
