Fits perfectly and looks cool. Does it feel as good as the original rubber grips? No, not really. Does it feel just like the base PS5 controller you get with the console? Yes. It’s fine.I was pretty annoyed at the rubber grips peeling off but this is an easy and cheap solution. The shell will fit flush if you follow the directions for putting the new one on. The old one is a real pain to get off. You just have to keep at it and don’t try to force it. Also take the sticks off before you do this. You’ll be laying the controller down and inevitably it will be trying to turn on but it won’t if the sticks are off. Do it on a soft surface. I used the neoprene mat on our gaming table.

It wasn't sitting flush so after careful inspection, I cut part of the plastic that should've slid into a hole on each grip, but wasn't. The fit was flush after the cut, but the front plate is too small and there's a notable gap compared to the back plate. The paint is also really thin and already chipping.*Update*Their customer service has been phenomenal. They offered a refund and they sent a replacement free. I'm not sure if they're sending the replacement instead of the refund or both honestly, but I'm happy either way. I'm still using the pieces I originally received in the order but I'll check to see if anything is different with the replacement pieces. Unfortunately they said the gap on the front plate is normal and even the stock front plate has that gap. It's a great color and I don't notice any of these issues while gaming.

This is an initial review based on installation and a bit of use. I'll update if things change in the long run.The parts come well packaged. It all looks like a similar quality to the original parts.Installation was pretty simple, and it came with the needed tool and a link to a video guide, which got me through just fine. That took me about 10 minutes.Initial impressions are that the plastic does fit quite well, but you do have to give it some good pressure to get all the little bits to pop into place. I got the black one, and I like the matte finish. I think it looks nicer than the glossy top that came originally.The only real downside I've noticed so far is the grips are not as grippy. I think that will help them not to get so discolored, but the original grips did have a nice feel to them. These don't feel bad, just not as nice.Overall, it isn't perfect, but I would definitely recommend these.

Exceptional quality. Beats having a 200 dollar controller that looks like it's rocking discolored torn tighty whities from the 90s. Pretty easy to assemble with tutorial video. Matte tone suits the controller better than the originals gloss finish

I decided to get this because like some reviewers my controller started to bubble underneath the grips. The fit is really good. I didn't see any noticeable gaps. It is however tricky to align perfectly before snapping into place. Watch their YouTube installation. Start with aligning the bottom part first where the jack port is. I'm glad I got the black. It looks OEM and in my opinion better than the original. Some say it feels less premium, but it doesn't to me.

Purchased this like many others because the grips on the dual edge controller were peeling off. I tried many times to put the back plate on and it never fit. The middle part fit perfectly, but the places it would connect around the grips weren't even close to fitting. I even tried to use a vice grip because I thought maybe I wasn't pushing hard enough. I gave up and put the original back on and it fit perfectly. Maybe I got a poorly made one, but I'm returning it.

My grips are still fine. I bought this kit because of the matte black front plate. It looks so much better than the glossy one that comes with the controller. The only thing missing from the stock front plate is that there is no mic mute icon below the mute button. They require a little more force to press and click into place than the original, but both of them I purchased clicked into place and work great.

Like most people, I got this because the rubber parts of my DualSense Edge grips had started peeling away from the controller.It's a decent replacement part overall, but I have the following issues with it.1. The color is a coat of paint over white plastic. I was hoping for just colored plastic; paint means that the color could rub off eventually, and also might affect the following issue.2. There are some small gaps between the back plate and the controller grips even after proper installation. Based on other reviews and comments on other sites, most people have a seamless fit, but that was not the case for me. I even contacted their customer support about it, and they were kind enough to send me a replacement free of charge (prompt and amazing support!), but the replacement had the same issue. It makes me wonder if the slight extra thickness from the coat of paint prevents a perfect fit.3. The front plate lacks the little spongy sticker bits on the Sony stock plate, and therefore makes the front plate harder to remove when the sliding switch to open it is operated. The Sony part sort of pops up and away from the controller when you slide the switch; the replacement part just gets kind of loose so you need a little more effort to get it off. While I was looking forward to putting more purple on my controller, I'm fine with using the stock Sony front plate.Overall, it's a decent, but not perfect, replacement piece to get if the rubber bits on your Edge grips are bubbling or peeling. I'm still going to keep an eye out for other alternatives that have a better fit though.
