Gas Flame Failure Safety Control Valve & Fire Pit Igniter Kit, 3/8" Flare

Was exactly what I needed to repair my fire table that stopped working after 3 years. Replaced all these parts at a very affordable price and the table has been working perfect since.

Perfect fit

I bought to fix an old fire pit for my daughter. Turns out I bought the one with larger threaded parts than what her fire pit has. I took the end cap off and used the new pressure switch and end cap along with the new copper wire probe. I put those things onto her old valve and turns out that fixed the problem. Fire pit works as it should and this purchase was cheaper than just buying the pieces I would have needed. Happy accident I guess. Make it easier for yourself and measure the threaded nipples before you order. If I had, the thing would have been fixed in five minutes.

I was able to replace the old valve assembly with this new one (without replacing the heat sensor tubing) and it works well, but the maximum flow rate is less than the old valve. With the old valve, I would turn it to about 70% of the maximum for a nice warm flame of about 6” high. With this new valve, leaving it at maximum results in a flame about 5” high, and not quite as warm as I’d like on cooler nights.

The thermocouple was all we needed and it works well. The valve body had all wrong sized ports and was useless.

Thermocouple not responsive at first, requires holding flame on for longer than you'd expect, but from them on works just fine.

Perfect fit for my fire table. I thought I was going to have to send it to the junk yard. Its back in action!

This worked great to replace the faulty one on our Costco bought fireplace. Easy to replace and works much smoother than the original.

So far so good. Installation was fairly straightforward. Works as intended. Perfect. The difficulty was not installing the new part (which is solid and in one piece which includes valve and all), but moreso with removing the old one. Works like a charm so far, in its first week. Paid a fraction of the cost of a new table. Yay!

The product works great just had to make one small modification to my fire table to make it fit.

This was the perfect fit for my propane fire table. I just needed the valve as my old one was seized. It was easy to install and saved me hundreds by not having to buy a new table.
