The Moondrop MC1 cable was a great upgrade for my Truthear Hexas. Build quality It's about 4 ft long from the 3.5mm connector to the earhooks the main body is 2 grey twisted conductors and Y's into single conductors for each ear. The 3.5 is in spec and isn't loose or tight. The 3.5mm as well as the y split and both .78 2 pin connectors are housed by fairly high quality plastic molding. The Y split has very discreet branding inlaid along the length of its barrel. The 2 pin connectors are both labeled left and right as well as negative and positive. The cable is not very thick. It is however soft and doesn't seem tangle prone if stored properly. It includes a branded cable tie to assist with storage, and doesn't hold much memory. The inline mic is located approximately 6 inches from the bottom of the right earhook. The earhooks are soft and smooth without any texture making them extremely comfortable. The cable jacket is opaque so I can't vouch for the material of the cores. Overall the cable is structurally simple and sound, and I find it to be visually appealing in a minimalist sort of way. Sound quality The sound quality is great. I don't hear any differences in the quality vs the stock cables or my kbear st16 cable. There is no static popping or any other adverse noise when the 3.5mm moves around in my phone my dac or my Xbox controller. The microphone sounds good there have been no issues hearing my voice on either phone calls or on Xbox live. The multi function button works as expected. Thoughts I'm honestly impressed with the functionality of this mic cable. I really like the well labeled minimalist design, but I wished they had used aluminum housings instead of plastic. I know that's a petty gripe but I like what I like. Other than that, it's great and I would purchase it again, plastic fittings and all.

Awful cable

I got this for shooting games and it’s phenomenal!!! best thing I could of bought I can now distinguish every sound from reloading to footsteps to a door opening or sliding and know the exact direction it’s coming from it’s super crisp sound for gaming where you need to hear small details I bought it knowing this, this is not meant for listening to music, movies, YouTube it won’t sound good it will sound weird and harsh on ears but it is great for gaming!!! I highly recommend it has really improved my gaming experience I die a lot less lol

Bought this for chu 2 and now i have a mic for the phone. phone call was ok especially since i had a usbc DAC.

Not durable. On my 3rd wire. First two pictures are a brand new wire, next two are a 3 month old wire. Over time the wire goes from soft and malleable to hard and stiff to the point that you can hold it down the line and have a third or the cable parallel to the ground. Once they get to this point someone failed eventually. My last pair failed with the microphone going out. Most recent pair, the stuff pictured one, has no sound in the right headphone but the microphone still works for call for now.

I had bought the moondrop usb C iem my mixer don’t support it so had to convert to 3.5 mm

No lo he usado ni un mes y ya se le va el sonido a los auriculares, hay que estar moviendo el conector porque el sonido va y viene
