Fun little drone! It's small enough to fit in your palm. It worked right out of the box with no adjustments. My son loves it. It's ok for indoors or outdoors. Having 2 batteries is a nice plus too. I only wish it had a case with it, but thankfully we has something that it fit in.

It said this drone was for kids and beginners. It was WAY too hard and my 8 year old son could not work it. The box says 14+ but that was never listed in the description online. It’s impossible to get the drone centered so it will hover. It goes too fast and immediately slams into a wall and all the propellers pop off. Definitely not meant for younger kids.

It took a bit to get this Drone to calibrate and fly straight and also found the instructions a bit confusing. I like it came with a spare items, including a battery. Does fly pretty decently and easy to control once you get the hang of it

This is a very nice introductory drone. The Simrex X300C drone provides a 720P HD camera that captures quality footage. The drone has a one-key take-off/landing button that makes flying easy and convenient. The "SIMREX Zoomy" mobile app via Wi-Fi works great, as we expected. We have had so much fun flying this drone. Strongly recommended.

Sadly, it stopped working just after few days. I wouldn’t purchase again because they instructions to sync the drone up with your phone is extremely confusing. average sized phones doesn’t fit in the slot they have for your phone with the controller. You can’t use the controller and use the camera at the same time, you have to use your phone to maneuver the drone which is a lot harder.

I am a beginner, and this was my second drone. My first drone cost $100, and I lost it right away because I didn't know what I was doing. I bought this drone because it had great features and cost only $32, so I wasn't afraid to fly it and risk damaging or losing it. I watched a YouTube video series, researched drones, practiced flying indoors, and then decided to take it outside. This product review will summarize my experience. I'll start with a summary so you don't have to read the whole review. Then I'll give positive points and a list of problems. To summarize, this drone does not work very well, and you should not expect it to perform like a professional drone. It's suitable for beginners because it lets you learn how to fly, use the features, and anticipate potential difficulties. Kids will love flying indoors, though they will still need a reasonable level of skill to avoid crashing it, which may be difficult due to potential control issues. Overall, this is a fun toy and a good value considering it was only $32. Positive points: The instructions are reasonably easy to follow, and the drone is reasonably easy to fly. The camera feature is easy to use, the Wi-Fi app connectivity was problem-free, and you can easily retrieve photos and videos from an iPhone. The drone is small, lightweight, and reasonably durable, with some resistance to crash damage. You can control the drone with the remote or with the iPhone (to control by phone, the remote must be turned off). However, it is essential to note that a phone is required to operate the camera, and the camera can be operated either with or without remote control power. Problems: The battery life is very short. Sustained flight will last no longer than 10 minutes on a fully charged battery. The battery then takes 40 minutes to charge. A low battery is supposed to cause the drone to land automatically, but it can also cause it to lose connectivity to the remote and exhibit erratic flight patterns. The propellers come off easily when the drone crashes. Extra propellers are provided, but you may run out of parts very quickly. One time, I started the drone, and the propeller must have been loose, and it was immediately launched off the drone, and I was unable to locate it. If the propellers are not tight, the drone will still start and attempt to fly, which can cause problems if the pilot is unaware of a propeller issue. The drone is difficult to control. I practiced indoors and became confident that I understood the drone's control features and that it would respond to my commands. After moving outside, the drone seemed to have a mind of its own at times. This might have been due to prior crash damage, but I can't be 100% sure. Also, even experienced fliers will crash this drone sooner or later, so a beginner should definitely anticipate a crash or two. Right before I noticed a loss of response to the remote, it seemed fine, so I don't know why it stopped doing what I was telling it to do. The attached video shows that the drone was unable to avoid tree branches and nearly crashed, even though I was pushing the joystick in the opposite direction as it drifted toward the trees. Overall, the drone did not respond consistently to the remote control, despite my efforts to recalibrate and fine-adjust the controls as the YouTube video suggests. The camera angle is not adjustable, and photos and videos are not very sharp. The resolution is not very good, although it does not claim to be (720p). The camera angle does not provide a clear view, even though the drone is over 50 feet in the air (see attached video). The camera points down at the ground too much, which is OK for some shots, but difficult for others. The instructions are not at all comprehensive. You will end up with more questions than answers and will certainly need to watch some online videos. The YouTube video series (6 videos) I watched was not provided by the manufacturer but by a customer who was kind enough to try to explain how to use the drone. The drone flies erratically at times, and once it shut itself off and fell out of the sky for no apparent reason. Be prepared to lose this drone due to damage or because it gets stuck in a tree or on a rooftop. I would keep the drone at an elevation of under 10 feet until you are certain it is not malfunctioning. Erratic flight issues could be due to an inadequate range between the remote and the drone; however, the product information states the range should be around 150 feet, which is certainly enough for outdoor flight. Some of the advanced features were difficult to use, and I wasn't ready for that. The "automatic return to launch point" feature did not allow the drone to return to its launch point precisely. On its approximated return flight, it ran directly into an obstacle. If I had known about this lack of precision, I would have used this feature in a more open area. Also, the "draw flight path" feature on the iPhone screen with a fingertip works, but it's not very precise. It should not be attempted in areas with obstacles, as the drone may need to be redirected quickly due to its inability to avoid them during the pre-programmed flight. The charging cable is special, and so if you lose it, you won't be able to charge your batteries or your remote. Only one cable is provided, so you can only charge one component at a time. This means it will take you 2 hours to prepare for an outing that allows only 20 minutes of sustained flight. Kids and adults will both find this frustrating. Overall, beginners can appreciate this drone and decide whether they are interested in paying more for a more professional piece of equipment. It will also help one anticipate the risks associated with outdoor remote-controlled drone flight and with outdoor obstacles. This will undoubtedly become more expensive if you risk losing drones that cost $350 or more. Sometimes one needs to experiment to learn, especially when instructions and warnings are not provided. Since experimenting can cause significant damage in this case, it's best to start with a drone like this, which doesn't cost much. For the price, this is one of the best drones I've found on Amazon. It has an extra battery, a dedicated phone app, propeller guards, phone-based flight control (the remote can be left at home), a camera with Wi-Fi connectivity and image file retrieval, advanced flight and camera features, and it weighs under 250 grams, making permits unnecessary. Few drones check all of those boxes and still cost less than $50. I am therefore recommending this drone for your enjoyment, with the caveat that loss due to damage or other hazards may be included in the package. Have fun!

Bought this over the Christmas holiday for my 12yr old son, and he still plays with it daily, has great batt. life, takes great pics, and very easy to fly, with its stability control. Would definitely purchase again.

I received this as a promotional.It was easy to set up and get flying though I would recommend watching videos on the X300C to get a good overview of all the features.I found headless mode to be the easiest to use since I have no drone experience. The only down side is the phone holder. It will only accept a phone that is 2 5/8" wide which is awfully small. On the plus side, it screws on so I will be able to print a wider holder.
