Can also work well instead of Comteks
Iโm a location sound mixer and needed extra IFBs for set to send a separate feed and wanted a cheap solution, these are amazing, lightweight and the added neckbands are a great touch for producers and scripty; way smaller than comteks. These are almost identical to comteks with range about 75% to around 180ft+ with line of sight and thatโs in Los Angeles. It can go through small walls but not the best after about 60ft in that instance unless in an open studio. Only time I had an issue is with a crane operator who had wireless but thatโs messed with everyoneโs wireless units including the teradeks on set. Overall great units to have for sets and cheap to replace.

Great for Churches, but see charging note in review.
This system works great for hearing challenged persons in our church. The transmitter is connected to our A/V system via the 3.5mm jack on the transmitter. We issue receivers to congregants as needed. NOTE: the USB charging port only seems to work with a combination Type A and Type C connector. For some reason Type C to Type C connectors donโt work. This is important for our transmitter which is located far away from the charging station.

Reliable
I have purchased multiple of these systems for international conferences. They work amazingly well. They are so easy to use and offer clear sound. The battery lasted for a full day of use. They are so much better than smart AI headsets, that are expensive, require smart phones, stable Wifi, and offer inconsistent translation. I only wish I could buy storage cases and additional charging stations separately.

Adequate but no frills
When it comes down to it you speak into the transmitter and you hear the sound out of the receiver. Can't argue with it doing exactly what is says. Build wise neither device is special with cheapish feeling plastic and basic buttons. That's not a huge issue for me when the point isn't to look good; it's just to get the sound to someone's ear. Operation is as simple as moving the switch to on though I like that they include a lock option that most people should use as it will prevent accidental channel changes. Mine came at volume 5 which I think is a good starting point but it really needed getting it up to 9 is simple and obvious with the volume buttons and get's it plenty loud without being enough to hurt someone's hearing if they didn't mean to have it that high. I really like that while these are simple devices they still went with USB-C which keeps them up to date with modern chargers. I'm surprised they only only included one charging cable but I suppose they aren't that hard to come up with. I was also a little annoyed to find that they didn't include a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for attaching a mixer board output to the transmitter. That's my use-case and while it's another thing that isn't hard to come up with I'd like an included cable that I know will work for something probably a good half of purchasers are going to do. The ear clips are a good setup where they are external to the ear and will be easy to clean when handing out. Nothing fancy about them except that I think they are the exact thing needed. The product has been working fine for us so I'm happy.

Perfect for the situation
Bought this for group setting in DR for one translator to help several people that donโt speak Spanish to understand what was being said. It works perfectly. Even in very loud surroundings you can hear the translator. Ease of use and set up are great. Highly recommend.

Does not charge via USB!
All good except for the C-type charging port on both the transmitter and receivers which don't charge! Considering returning.
