I used this kit to hardwire a Kingslim D4 camera into my 2024 Subaru Outback. It works great. I used the second to smallest fuse in the fuse box under the dash. My camera now has constant power and I didn't use up a cigarette lighter plug. I also won't have any problem with the cigarette lighter plug vibrating loose and cutting off the power. I'm very pleased.

I was in an accident some time after installation and the cam caught everything. My location and speed were very helpful.

3 stars because the design is flawed. The ACC power is pre-installed with a fuse that may not fit your vehicle. This should be a detachable one like the constant power fuse. This greatly limits how the hardwire kit can be used as it depends on your vehicle. Currently I am using the constant power as an ACC, which is fine as using it as a constant source would drain my battery and would not allow the hardwire system to operate correctly.

Works well and the cable was long enough for my Ford Ranger. My only complaint and I think it's pretty big is that the fuse taps stick way out in the fuse box making a bulge so the cover won't work right. But, its super hard to get it right for every vehicle out there... . So check to see if you fuse box is recessed enough (1/2) inch to see if it will fit well.

Easy to install, does what it should.

Drains car battery. Within the first month of use, i had to jump start my car 4-5 times and now I have to get a nee battery.
