I love this Old Trapper Peppered Double Eagle Beef Jerky and eat it all the time. I enjoy it so much that I have it set up for a biweekly Subscribe & Save delivery.The flavor is excellent, with a great smoky taste and just the right amount of pepper. The seasoning adds a nice kick without overpowering the beef flavor. The texture is also great—not too soft and not overly tough like some other jerky.This has become one of my favorite snacks because it tastes great and is an easy source of protein when I need something quick. I highly recommend it and will continue buying it.

We've also tried the jalapeño variety. My husband usually likes foods with a lot of heat, but he didn't think the jalapeño was spicy enough to replace the peppered version as his favorite. I was able to enjoy it too, so I'd describe it as a pretty mild jalapeño flavor rather than a really spicy one.The quality is consistently good, and it's become our go-to high-protein snack. What a different take on beef jerky. Love the shape and flavor of these. Perfect size to eat with a slice of cut up cheese and cracker. Nice pepper flavor.It's not super tough like some jerky can be and and not super tender. It's that perfect amount of a chew with these.

Old trapper is a family favorite. The peppered is the perfect mixture of spice and savory making the best on the go snack. There is a generous amount of jerky for the price!
