Technophobe friendly
I love my Sonnics 1TB SSD. So much so I bought another.Ithas great performance and is easy to use, simply format, plug and play. A full TB of space to fill up. The download speed is fine, it doesn't take forever. It can be formatted different ways - I had to enlist my husband for this because I'm a bit of a technophobe - but he did it for me in seconds.I had to buy an adaptor to use it with my ipad but that was the only extra I needed.It looks pretty and appeals to the Magpie in me that likes shiny things. I bought the pink, then the red. I need another now and am eyeing up the purple. If Sonnics would like to sponsor me I'll happily accept one 😜

Compact and easy.
I've never heard of this brand so this was kind of a risky purchase. But I'm pleased to say that this drive is both a fraction of the size of my old HDD and doing a stellar job so far. I have used it with both Windows 10 and Linux (KDE) with no complaints at all.

Internal hardware does not match description - misleading packaging
I cannot recommend this product as the internal components do not match the advertised Solid State Drive (SSD) specifications. Upon testing and inspection, the device appears to function as a basic USB flash drive housed inside a larger external casing.The packaging is also misleading; my unit arrived with an "SSD" sticker placed directly over the original "Hard Drive" label on the box. The performance speeds are significantly lower than what is advertised for a true SSD. Please check other recent feedback, as this seems to be a consistent issue with the hardware being sent out. I have returned this for a refund as it is not the technology described in the listing.

Compact with huge storage (1TB) and fast to use.
Compact little 1TB portable SSD at a competitive price. Stored about 3500 photos onto it from my PC in very little time and still have a huge amount of storage left in this SSD.

works great - not sure why it's covered in camo
This external hard drive works like a dream—no crashes, no issues. But I’m still baffled by the camo design on the front. Is it preparing for a covert mission in the Amazon? Did someone think I’d be storing top-secret jungle intel? Spoiler alert: it’s mostly family photos and spreadsheets. Unless my desk suddenly turns into a war zone, I can’t see the point. Confusing aesthetic choices aside, it’s a solid piece of tech—just maybe a bit too prepared for the call of duty
