Pet Grooming Glove, Blue

I was thinking these were like my previous glove I bought from Walmart but sadly I was wrong. The nubs are a lot shorter than my previous one and these have already tore on the sides. I was not to happy with that fact. I was also very unhappy with the fact these are harder to clean than my previous one and it lasted a lot longer than these...Go to Walmart and grab their gloves, just like these, but easier to clean, longer nubs and bigger in the wrist and fingers...

We have two cats that have grown more and more adverse to grooming. One is a medium hair that does not ahead too much, but the other is a long hair who mattes easily.Both cats were much more tolerant of grooming with the gloves than any other brush we have tried yet. And we have tried a lot!The gloves allowed for a more relaxed petting that also helped groom them. Our medium hair cat just loved it and would lay there forever to get a massage. Our long hair cat was much more relaxed getting petted and we were able to groom here for a while.The reason for only 4 stars is that while the plastic part of the gloves is soft and flexible, I wish it had a bit more silicone in its blend. I have found our other silicone brushes do a better job of attracting and keeping hair attached to the brush than these gloves. They were not as easy to clean, but I understand that every animal's fur is different, and my cats fur could be just too fine.Overall, we like the brushes and continue to use them daily to help during shedding season. We may purchase a more expensive pair with more silicone, now that we know our cats will tolerate the style of grooming, in the hopes of an easier cleanup. You get what you pay for, and these were a good value for the price.

They did not work that wellCould be wrong gloves for my dog

I have a long hair cat. She sheds soooo much.1. Thankfully she wasn’t scared of the gloves. She realized it was a nice massage after a little while.2. Her hair is super soft and fine, but also very long, so even though some of the hair stayed on the gloves, a lot of it was flying around in the air.3. The gloves are not easy to clean off. Some of the hair peels off easily, but a lot stays behind and also ends up flying around in the air.4. The hair always gets stuck in the Velcro on the wrist of the gloves.5. It didn’t take all the shedded hair. In fact, I petted my cat after a lengthy brushing with the gloves, and hair was coming out in my hands.6. The gloves did take up a lot of hair and that’s why I have three stars. But certainly this product is flawed.

I just got the gloves today and what kind of catmom would I be if I didn’t use them right away! My first fur baby, Sparkie, was in heaven. All 3 of her loving rubdowns came back with gloves full of fur!Before I could start on my other cat, I had noticed the left Velcro seemed loose. I looked closer and the stitching had come undone. I’m not even mad, I know how to use a needle and thread! Things happen, I still consider this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Item!My second fur baby, Nyxie, was enjoying the rubdowns, yet she is a Tortie and all you fellow Tortie servants know exactly what I’m getting at. 🙄 She also got 3 loving rubdowns, all with gloves full of fur!I LOVE THIS!!! They shed every freaking where! Now I can finally pet and brush in one fell swoop! Thank you!

*UPDATED* Decreased to 3 stars due to I have had these gloves for 5 days, used them once per day for quick rub downs, and they have started falling apart. The wrist strap stitching has started coming undone. The wrist has separated from the mesh side on each glove.For right now I will give these the full 5 stars. They are big for my hands, but did a great job today of removing loose hair and dirt from my pit rescue. My baby sat there and was very calm during her rub down. She generally squirms and try to get away during brushings. Apparently she loves the way these gloves feel!! The mesh allows for good air flow on the hands. All I had to do to clean the hair from the gloves was to rub them together, just like dusting your hands off.

This totally works. I wasn’t sure if my evil cat would let me use it on him as he hates brushings and is definitely one of those cats that likes to be petted on his terms and only for about 5 seconds. Not only does this glove work to get the dead undercoat out, but my cat actually likes being petted/brushed with it. If Satan’s reject cat let’s me use it on him, then I’m happy with it.

These are a one size fits most product and I am not most. They were way too big for my hands. I'm giving them 5 stars as they are exactly as described, well made and work as intended. I brushed my dog and he seemed to enjoy it. I didn't quite pull off a sheet of hair as shown in the ad, but I think that's because they are so large on my hands they don't make as much contact as they should have. I'm an adult who wears child size gloves. My ring size is 5.5. If you have larger hands, there is nothing wrong with these and they should work great for you and your pet. I didn't see any gloves like these that offer different sizes.
