Is it non-toxic? I used it to sharpen some knives and I just realised I have no idea what the waxy substance is that holds them togeather.

You definitely want to wear a mask when using this I don’t think it’s to toxic but you shouldn’t be breathing any of these compounds in.

Just recieved my polishing bars and I need to ask, are they suppose to be very hard ? Do they have an age limit ?

No they will be very hard even if they were fresh the friction from your little polishing wheels will heat up the stick and cause it to stick better
