Extremely cool GUI for your project
I wanted to have a nice touchscreen GUI for my arduino project instead of a typical cumbersome 2x20 display. I came across this product and gave it a try. I am quite impressed with it. It draws very fast and has immediate touch response. The free GUI tool takes a few minutes to figure out, but using it, one can come up with an extremely slick UI with minimal effort. They really need a start from scratch tutorial. It would have saved me from some head scratching. I received the display just a few days ago and already feel proficient enough with it I think I could make just about anything imaginable. I suggest avoiding using their arduino library as it really isn't needed. My only concern about using this display is it's long term availability should someone want to create a mass produced product with it. For prototypes however it simply cannot be beat.

Well built display for Arduino class devices, but lacks quality screen design software.
Nice display, good for prototyping. UNFORTUNATELY the software is not anything close to intuitively easy to use, and the guy that supports it (seems like only one person responds to questions) is pretty hostile. Maybe he's getting tired of defending the software! Rather than get bullied by the guy, I just spent the time via trial and error to get it going. That said, I don't know of any other WYSIWYG or easy to use screen design software for these types of displays, so consider yourself lucky to find anything. It took me about 5 hours to get through a not too complex design. This is not for the technically challenged or those unfamiliar with low level coding. Rating would have been a 2 star if there was any competition on the software side.

Excellent Product
This thing is awesome, I can't believe I can integrate a small touch screen into my projects for such a low cost.I like the model they use, this is a true HMI that runs it's own application, not just a touch screen with no intelligence.Word of advice, the HMI editing software doesn't provide the sexiest graphics (and I don't expect it too at this price point). For instance to make buttons that look professional, the trick is to actually draw the button on the background image and then create an invisible button over the top of it.

Great quality!
I used this for ham radio project to set up an external display for a jumbo spot repeater. It works great and was very easy to install and configure. I'll be looking at getting more Nextion screens in bigger sizes.

Very good clear display
It’s a very nice display want you figure out how to use it there is a little bit of a learning curve but it’s not too bad it works great with the teensy and Arduino that I’m using
