LiTime 48V Battery Balancer, Active Equalizer for 24V/36V/48V Battery Banks

The darn thing works, survived an accidental short too. Not a high power item, give it a over night to equalize larger batteries. Mine are a set of 4x 12V 200AH LiFePo4s. I used to have 30% and more discrepancies after only a couple cycles, now it’s within 6% during charging from 10% and less than 1% after charging to 80% or more. Equalizing is not as good for a half charged battery set, but still good enough. Recommend this any time, price is good too.

Works excellent! Haven’t had it more than a couple of weeks but so far it’s been an amazing product. Ask me again in a year.

Easy install and works as it should. Wires seem a little thin, but everything hooked up fine. Might be a hard reach for 4 batteries, had to center it for 3. Battery 1 was taking a full charge first and draining first, leading to a lot of overcharging/discharging and low voltage lockout. Now, all 3 12 volt batteries charge and discharge evenly. It whistles a little, though.

1. The wires barely reach terminals on four batteries. 2..There are no indicator lights that it is doing anything. 3. It let my 4s4p battery bank get out of balance by one volt. That is technically unacceptable. UPDATE: The batteries eventually came back in balance within 0.10 volts. The balancer works well. The main issue is the wires are too short for my batteries. It appears to be a non-functional product. Do not buy.

This made the system erratic within a day. However, a fuse was added to each positive line and remained removed most of the time. When the batteries drifted the fuses were installed during battery balancing operation (high voltage) then removed again before voltage started to drop. This provided the function I needed - a top balance every few months, but is much easier than typical disassembly and top balance.

Works great!! It really works! It completely prevented sudden shutdowns and improved the maximum charging voltage; my batteries no longer discharge prematurely and charge fully. My inverter stopped giving overvoltage errors.

Have installed several of these on both 48 and 36 volt golf carts with multiple series connected batteries any it solves all balance issues

All 3 batteries have stayed pretty much the same since connection, works as it should! Update: ordered my second balance,the package arrived empty but Susan at Li Time was prompt to act and my second(third) arrived it will be hooked up to my second bank of batteries later today. The package was shipped in its own box for the third time with still no seal,anyone can easily take the unit out of the box during shipping and no one would know where it disappeared!!!

First off, what I like about this device is heavy and looks sturdy which gives me some confidence, but the most amazing thing is it works as I heard from others. I just set it to my 2 12V batteries connected in series and it leveled the voltages in both with 2-3 hours

I have not sued it yet because it has a strong smell out of the box like burnt rubber or plastic. It could be normal and from manufacturing but seems a bit strong. Is that normal?
