Perfect for Pets: High Suction and No Wrapped Hair Rollers!
Reason for Buying: I mostly chose this cordless vacuum due to the good reviews on Amazon, the high suction power (it's awesome!) and the larger dirt collection cup. With pets, I absolutely need that so I'm not emptying the cup as often. For the price point, this is a very good vacuum and scored very high for my needs. Good Solid Design: I thought I wouldn't like the top-heavy design of it, but that hasn't been a big deal to get used to. It really isn't that heavy at all and I'm a petite 5'2" woman. In fact, the great benefits of this design are that I can get under my furniture without having to move the pieces in order to vacuum there. In addition, I love that it is NOT a bristle broom but a rubber roller. I never owned one like that but it works fantastically at picking up everything big and small. So, no more cutting off the pet hair wound around the roller brush for me. Finally! This type of roller has stayed clean even after a few weeks of use. One part that caught me off guard at first was emptying the dirt cup. The pet hair wouldn't fall out, but I quickly learned that you pull the inner piece out first, then empty it. No hands really touching the dirt. Now, if I had actually read the instructions, I would have learned that immediately. ha! If you're like me with instructions - now you know. The only very minor cons were: 1) Even though you can stand the vacuum up, it still is slightly top heavy and could be knocked over more easily than a traditional vacuum. But it stands up none-the-less and I'm able to stop and come back to it, and put it away in the closet that way. There is an option to use the attached hanger it came with, but I didn't need that. 2) The second minor con is there isn't a place on the unit or on the vacuum hanger to store the attachment tools, so everything would be all together. However, that may also add to the weight, so that may be by design. Again, minor cons I'll mention in case that's something more important for you. A bonus I wasn't expecting is the light, as it wasn't something I cared about, but it really helps me see the dirt, especially under furniture and in darker corners. Now, I almost feel this is a must-have in vacuums. Another feature I didn't think about at the time of purchase is that the battery is separate from the rest of the unit. I can charge it and not have to store my vacuum next to an outlet. My previous vacuum couldn't be stored in our closet since the battery was part of the overall unit, so I needed to store it by a nearby outlet to charge it. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, believe that it will last a long time by the way it's made, and am absolutely thrilled about the low maintenance and great suction performance. My carpets, hardwoods and tile floors can look great in a cordless jiffy. Highly recommend.

Very impressed!
I am so impressed with this mighty little vacuum, switching from a Dyson V12 to this. I have to say the bang for the buck is awesome. It does a great job. It’s wonderful that it’s so easy to empty. It’s super lightweight. It has pretty good suction on all surfaces. We use it at our dog kennel facility, which, as you could imagine, is filled with hair all day every day, and it has kept up like a champ and does a great job. It’s wonderful that the filters are easily washed, and you don’t have to purchase replacement filters from the manufacturer every so often. It does a good job with not getting clogged and can handle a decent amount in the tank before requiring to be emptied. The battery last pretty good amount of time. I would say for sure, on par with the Dyson so long as you don’t use it on the highest setting, all the time, and the lowest setting does just fine for every day vacuuming. Definitely would highly recommend five stars The only thing that I wish it had a wall mount with a charger built into it. Having to remember to plug it in every time you hang it on the wall is a slight inconvenience in comparison to many other brands. But hey, it’s got everything else you could want

Would reccomend
4 stars for the battery life, 5 stars for company service. The initial vacuum battery suddenly died after a year of moderate use. I contacted levoit support and they had me provide proof of the battery failure via a short video, they were prompt with replies and provided me with a new replacement vacuum free of charge once I showed I cut the cord of the old one as per instructions. I do really like this vacuum, easy to clean and lightweight. My kids enjoy using it. Simple to assemble, three parts click together. It was packaged nicely, comes with a mount to drill into the wall for storage. Battery charges quickly and it's easy to empty the debris from the canister. The vacuum picks up hair and debris well. I like that hair gets collected on the side and I don't need to cut out tangles like in a traditional vacuum base. It's quiet, and lightweight, helpful for those who cannot lift as much weight as some vacuums have on the market. The vacuum is low profile and easy to keep in a small space. It's also easy to take up and down the stairs In a multi level house. I will say make sure to fully charge if vaccuming multiple levels of the house to avoid the battery dying mid charge. It has three settings for how intense the suction can be which helps on different surfaces; I like that the button is right above the power button vs on the base, so changing the setting for suction intensity is very quick. This vacuum is gentle enough to use on low pile chenille rugs and doesn't ruin them, while also working as well on tile flooring. No odor issues either if you maintain the filter and don't pick up wet debris. Has attachments for the pipe suction feature, the light above the base makes it easy to see dust and dirt in darker corners. I would reccomend this as an alternative to more expensive vacuums as it does the job well and is a nice midrange option compared to much more expensive stick/ cordless vacuum models on the market. So far the only issue I've had is the battery life but I will look into replacement batteries to switch out in the future from this same brand as other reviewers had suggested. Great customer service. I will look into more products from this company based on customer service interactions alone.

**UPDATE**Great brand, but this vacuum has a few missed opportunities
I was really excited to get this vacuum because I enjoy the Levoit brand of air purifier and fan. Plus it was in my price range and on sale. Super stoked! Putting it together was interesting, I even had to use the instructions haha. Likely user error but worth mentioning. The vacuum came with a pre-charge of about 10 minutes which was nice to test it out straight out of the box. My few issues are that it's not as powerful as I need it to be. It gets the job done but I have to go over the same spot a couple of times. It doesn't pick up much at all on pull back and does not have much side suction. I do like that it's self standing and cordless, but the stick isn't too tall, I'm guessing so it can self stand, so I'm having to make longer strides to cover more distance. It does the job but with a few opportunities. This review is straight from the box. Ill give an update after some time in my pug filled house! **UPDATE** Alrighty.. there are a few things that I've grown to love about this vacuum! First being the easy to clean chamber. You can press the button and all the dog hair comes out without me having to use my hands. Woot woot! Second.. I really like that the bar is flat. This makes it significantly easier to go under furniture without hitting and scuffing my furniture. Its flat so it easily just rolls under without me having to bend down too much. Im still not super pleased with the suction but overall its been my second best vacuum ever! The attention to details bumps it up to a 4!

WAKE UP!
Guys, this vacuum is a total rip off. For the $200 price tag, this thing is a JOKE. My mom bought this and was happy with it, but she has no idea what a rip off it is. There are two specs (specifications) you want to look for when purchasing a vacuum: watts, and kpa. Watts is the amount of power it consumes, and kpa is the amount of suction force it can generate. They are not directly proportional, but they are related in the sense that more power consumption (watts) will typically give you more suction force (kpa). So what does that mean for this vacuum? The lvac-200 model of this vacuum is only a 180w vacuum. In the context of what wattage and kpa other vacuums are making, that’s a JOKE! They don’t even advertise the kpa, because at that wattage rating it’s probably next to nothing. If you look at other cordless vacuums, they are rated as high as 800w and 60kpa, which is a respectable rating given that expensive corded vacuums are typically pulling around 1,100w. You’ll rarely, if ever, get the same ratings as a corded vacuum from a battery powered cordless one, but 800w is pretty close, and the best I’ve found so far. PLEASE stop googling things like “best cordless vacuums” when you’re making decisions as to what you want to buy. There’s an article that pops up that lists this vacuum as their first choice, and guys, this thing is a JOKE! Do you know why the article listed this first? Because this company paid them to! There’s even a direct link in the article that leads to this Amazon product page so you can purchase this vacuum. And do you know why this vacuum is near the top of the search results when you search for cordless vacuums on Amazon? Because this company pays Amazon to put their product at the top of the search results! That is NOT my “conspiracy theory” or anything like that. That IS how this works, and that’s why most products at the top of the Amazon search results says “sponsored” next to them: because they’re paying to have their product near the top. Now all that said, how is the company paying for all of this advertising? By charging YOU $200 for this JOKE of a vacuum cleaner!! PLEASE catch on that the philosophy of these companies is that as long as you see their product first, that’s the one you’ll buy, so they pay a ton of money to advertise it so that you’ll see it and buy it, and they pass the cost of that advertising on to you in the price of the product you’re buying. That’s why this piece of GARBAGE costs $200: because it’s a $50 vacuum cleaner with $150 of advertising costs stacked on top! In summary, I returned this junk on my mom’s behalf, and I ordered her a new cordless that comes with 2 batteries, pulls 800w, and suctions with 60kpa. It’s more than double what this vacuum is, and it was about $40 less than this one. I hope anyone reading this WAKES. UP. and stops throwing their money away on garbage. Have a little self respect! Why do you allow these companies to sell you junk at an exorbitant price? When making any purchase decision, stop relying on a third party review, and instead learn the specs that are relevant to what you’re purchasing (watts and kpa), find products that meet those specs (800 watts and 60kpa) and then pick the one that has the better features (like extra attachments or two batteries, for example). THAT is how you make a good decision and get your moneys worth. THIS piece of garbage is a prime example of the power of an effective purchase funnel, and that’s ALL this is: effective advertising! I hope this helps someone make informed decisions and get their moneys worth out of their products in the future.

You Don’t Actually Need a Dyson
I think a lot of us secretly want a Dyson stick vacuum at this point, or actually we’ve been conditioned to think that everyone has one and every house needs one. Somewhere along the line, vacuums, hair dryers, coolers, and water bottles became status symbols, which still feels a little absurd to me. I just could not justify spending $600–800 on a stick vacuum. I was looking for a lightweight stick vacuum mostly because lugging out my trusted upright Miele several times a week is a pain, and I wanted something easy enough that everyone in the family, including the kids, would actually use it daily to keep the house tidier. People old enough to remember the dark ages of battery-operated vacuums before Dyson changed the game will understand my skepticism. Every thrift store and garage sale had piles of those sad little “futuristic” cordless vacuums that worked for about three months before losing suction, refusing to hold a charge, and ending up abandoned in a corner somewhere. What made me comfortable trying this one was honestly the brand. I’ve had Levoit air purifiers for years and they’ve been reliable, quality products. In a world flooded with endless identical-looking electronics from random unrecognizable brands, that mattered to me. So, the actual review: this vacuum is pretty darn good. No, it does not have the ultra-precise “German-engineered spaceship” feel of a Dyson. The tolerances and fit aren’t at that level. It also does that awkward “sort of stands on its own but also looks like it may topple over at any moment” thing, which I hate. The charging setup is also a little clunky. It’s basically just a cord plugging directly into the body instead of a nice charging dock. There is a wall hook included for the vacuum itself. We ended up adding a little hook on the wall next to it to hold the cord in place when the vacuum is being used. A proper charging base would make this feel dramatically more premium. BUT. The suction is genuinely strong. The battery life has been great. It’s lightweight, easy to empty, easy to clean, and after more than a year of daily use, it’s still working perfectly. That alone has impressed me. It has clogged once, and I initially thought it was broken. I contacted customer service and they were excellent. Fast, responsive, wanted a video of the issue, and while troubleshooting I discovered the clog in the base and realized the vacuum itself was completely fine. They still followed up twice afterward to make sure everything was working correctly. That level of customer service is increasingly rare and appreciated. So my long-winded conclusion is this: not all of us need a Dyson. I know they’ve become the default “aspirational household object,” but for $150 this thing has been an excellent purchase and genuinely useful in everyday life. I’m perfectly happy with my Levoit vacuum... and I’ll stick with my Igloo cooler too.

Finally! A vacuum under $300 that works
I have owned 4 cordless vacuum cleaners in as many years. The first was not a stick cleaner and worked well, but it was heavy and awkward and didn't get into tight spaces. It was so heavy, it didn't get used as much as it should have. I then bought two other stick-type vacuums, both were light and easy to maneuver, but didn't suck up the dirt - kind of a necessary function for a vacuum cleaner. My daughter has a Dyson, which I have used. The Dyson is definitely quality, but much heavier and not as easy to operate. Surprisingly, I prefer this vacuum to the Dyson. When I bought this Levoit, it was Wow! I found one that works. I bought it specifically because I have a Levoit air filter and I love it. I figured they were a quality manufacturer and I was right. I waited for a few weeks to review the vacuum to ensure that it continued to perform well. It has. As for the pros and cons - Pros: 1) it is very lightweight and easy to carry around the house. 2) Emptying the dust cup is super easy and doesn't make a mess. The dust cup removes with a simple push of a button and reattaches just as easily. I fought constantly with the prior vacuums to empty the dust cup and generally ended up covered in the dirt I had just vacuumed up. This dust cup is so easy to empty that there's no mess. 3) IT SUCKS! in the best way. No more going over the area 4 or 5 times and still leaving visible dirt. 4) It works well on hardwood, tile, and carpeting. I have hardwood floors with area rugs everywhere, and it moves without a hitch between carpet and bare floors. 5) The anti-hair wrap works like a dream. I have very thick hair that I was constantly pulling out of the brush when I vacuumed. I have not had to yank the hair out of the vacuum head once - a big deal to me. I don't have pets, but I assume it would function the same for pet hair. 6) The battery life is perfectly adequate for me, but it does help that I have a smaller house. I use it mostly on maximum suction, so it doesn't last a long time. But I believe this is generally the case for most cordless stick vacuums - most reviews for these stick vacuums complain about the battery life. I think it's a tradeoff for the lighter weight. It's a compromise I am willing to make. But if you are comparing similar items, the battery life is equivalent to any of the others I have used. 7) I LOVE that it stands up by itself! This was a dealbreaker for me. I hate to have to lean the vacuum up against something in the middle of vacuuming when you have to move something out of the way. 8) I like the light on the vacuum head. It helps to see the floor in areas that aren't brightly lit. 9) It does, in fact, lay all the way down so you can get under furniture. 10) There's virtually no assembly required. It probably took 30 seconds to put together, max. Cons: 1) The only small negative that I can see is that the long tube does not adjust up or down. However, I am a tall woman (5' 9"), and it works well for me - it comes up high enough to be comfortable. So for me, this isn't a negative. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about this vacuum. I would choose this vacuum every time over any other that I have used. If you are trying to choose between this Levoit and another brand, I highly recommend the Levoit.

Great for it's intended purpose
I purchased this vacuum for the purpose of vacuuming the cat litter and other small debris that accumulates daily around the house. Most of my floors are laminate with carpet in the bedrooms. The vacuum picks up all of the cat litter and small debris very well from the laminate floors and anything laying on top of the thicker carpets. I previously used a Bissell pet eraser handheld vacuum for this purpose. It was a fine machine that only fell short in two areas for me. One, I had to stoop over to use it, and two, it wasn't the best at containing the dust. The levoit has addressed both of these issues for me. I've found this vacuum more than adequate for daily cleaning of the hard floors, low or no pile rugs, and light cleaning of the thicker pile carpets. It contains 100% of the dust going into the dust bin. It's quieter than the Bissel one was by a fair margin, even on the highest setting. You'll still need a bigger vacuum for the deep cleanings, especially for thick carpets. My Miele is going on 30 years old and still going strong for the weekly deep clean. But for the quick daily stuff, this machine has been great. Update 1/15/2025: I've been using this vacuum for a couple of months now, and I still like it very much. I have two cats and use it daily to give my whole house a quick once over to pick up any loose cat hair, cat litter, food crumbs, etc. I have mostly hardwood floors with some medium pile carpet in the bedroom, and some area rugs near doors and in the living room. I do wish the motor in the brush head was a little bit stronger as it does slow down on carpet a bit, and I have one very dense area rug that will actually stop the brush head. But it only slows down a bit on the entry rugs and bedroom carpets. The suction has been more than enough, I keep it on the lowest setting most of the time and it picks everything up just fine. It also does a great job getting under all of my furniture as it folds completely flat. And probably the most important thing I like about this vacuum is that it is quiet enough that my cats aren't afraid of it. My one scaredy cat hid from it for the first few days, but now he follows me around watching me vacuum. It's small and light enough that getting it out and spending 5 minutes a day going over the whole house is simple and easy. $199 might be a bit high to buy, but with the $40 off coupon it is solid choice. UPDATE 5/30/2025: I thought it would be a good idea to clean the roller after several months of use, and I thought rinsing it under plain tap water would be just the thing to loosen and remove dust and dirt from the brushes and all the spaces I couldn't reach by just wiping it down. Bad idea. The water made the green 'brushes' stiff and also ruined the bearings i think. I let the roller dry overnight and when I ran the vacuum the next day it sounded like a helicopter trying to take off. I contacted Levoit about purchasing a replacement roller, explaining what I'd done to ruin this one and after a couple of emails back and forth, and sending them a short video of the noise the brush was making, they were very kind and sent a replacement brush roller under warrantee. With the new roller installed all is well again. Do not clean the roller with water, it will ruin it. They recommended only wiping it down. Great customer care by Levoit on this. They certainly didn't have to replace the roller since I'd ruined it, but they were more concerned that I was happy with their product than with trying to get more money from me. A rare thing anymore. Update: August 20, 2026. I've had this vacuum almost two years now and it is still going strong. I vacuum between 1000-1200 sq. ft. every morning with it and the battery is usually still showing two bars left after the 10-15 minutes of vacuuming on medium power. Like any machine, it does need maintenance. I pull the brush out once a month and wipe it down with a cleaning wipes along with the cavity around the brush area, and I clean or change the filters monthly as well. I have also removed the drive gear for the brush once just about a month ago by removing the one small Phillips screw holding it and cleaned a bit of hair that had accumulated behind it causing the brush roller to spin slightly erratically. Since then it has functioned perfectly again. Before buying this vacuum I researched them all, and was considering some much more expensive vacuums. I am very happy that I chose this one in the end. It works well, it is relatively quiet compared to most of what is out there, and it has proven to be a great machine. If and when it does eventually wear out I will likely replace it with another one just like it from Levoit.

Pd. Siempre extrañaré a mi gran aspiradora barata que me duró cinco años y fue mi gran compañera de limpieza, les pido un minuto de silencio por ella.😌
