The Varun M26-2 48V e-bike is a really good value, well-built e-bike. This is one of the easiest multi-geared (21-speed), bikes that I have ever put together. The manual is not the greatest but the video in the Amazon description page makes assembling the bike easy and straightforward. The front fender might be a little tight fitting. It is supposed to be position such that the bracket is screwed in at the front of the fork and the fender is pointed to the rear of the bike. (I have seen some pictures where the fender is installed incorrectly and is pointing to the front of the bike. The factory did a good job of precalibrating the gears and all 21 of my gear speeds were selectable. The fully assembled bike with battery installed weight about 53 lbs.I wasn't impressed much with the owners manual. You really do have to visit Varun site or YouTube to view videos that show how to assemble and how to operate the e-bike. The bike has 4 selectable "speed" modes - 0=electric motor OFF, 1= pedal-assist (or throttle) LOW. For me, mode 1 makes the bike go about 10-12mph. 2= medium speed - around 15mph. And 3= high, about 20-21mph. I don't think the speed or force that you pedal regulates the motor speed but rather, pedaling ACTIVATES the motor and the speed that the motor goes is based on the mode you selected. So if you are in mode 3 when you start up your bike, you might find yourself accelerating to 20mph very quickly. I'm pretty sure that squeezing the brakes turns off the motor - so keep your hands very near the brakes at all times while riding.

I have used this bike all summer. I love it so far. Putting it together was easy. The battery life is less than half of the stated 40miles. I am lucky to get 10 at the most, but for my use it is not that big of a deal.

Is a pretty good bike for a really good price. Actually it's really good for the price. I would recommend buying this bike.

I didn't expect much for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. The bike rides very well, even with no electric assistance. A quick adjustment to the rear derail cable and it shifts perfectly. It coasts well also, which is a sign of a well made bike. The front suspension works well and takes out the rough spots in the road. It comes with fenders, a kick stand and headlight.I've been a bike rider for over 25 years and am very happy with the overall quality of this bike.I don't ever write reviews, but I am so happy with this bike I had to pass it on.

The media could not be loaded. The primary reason I bought was for transportation to get to work and back. I don't own a car, I live a couple of miles away and going to work has a couple of long steep up hills.It's great. It has some power to it. It goes uphill like it's nothing. And the battery level hasn't moved much so I think it probably has a long battery charge. I'm going to try not to charge it until I have to. Just to test and see how long it will go for what I use it for.It fun to ride so I'll probably use it for recreation as well.No complaints so far!! I would recommend it if anyone asked me.

This Bike is really good, fun to ride. Fast delivery and respectful customer service. I have had some issues with bike but it got fix.

Don’t buy from Varun. I ordered two bikes. They canceled my order on the second one and the one that was delivered had a defective tire. We had to buy a replacement tire. It now works well, but the hassle was awful.
