Great quality leather-making tools contained in a well-made leather satchel that has a section for storing every tool. This is perfect for beginner or expert leather worker and I can’t believe I got all these tools for the price. Easy to store and use. Tools that should be sharp are sharp.

The set I would say is a generous mix of tools, some really good quality and others pieces poorly made. My favorite is the knife. Solid quality, no doubt. The little alligator clips are the other extreme. Cheap plastic junk!The leather case is a nice gesture, but for me personally, not needed. Others may find value in this. The awls are a bit disappointing, I should say two especially, look like they would fall apart if I stared at them too long.On a whole not bad starter set for anyone looking to explore leather crafting as I am. It’s a fair price. They have given you enough pieces to truly whet your appetite to really start exploring.The threads, cutting mats and pounding plate all made for really good value. Highly recommend.

Incredible value for this set. Easy to use tools with everything you need to start. It serves its function well with instructions for beginners. I have already made my first riveted sheath and was able to consult the included manual for guidance during the process. Large overall count of tools with good covering for different processes. Thread is not the greatest as one broke while sewing but that’s negligible. I would recommend this to beginners for sure.

Has all the tools you could think of, nice case for carrying. Good for all skill levels.

You will still have to buy some items like a stitching pony. I will add a smaller skiver, and half round cutters. I found that if you put beeswax on the chisels and punches that they come out a lot easier, leaving cleaner holes. Push down on the leather first with something like a small block of wood to start these tools out of the leather then they come out easy. The leather mat is a little bowed making it a little harder to use, might replace that. I am sure I will never use some of the stamps and will pick up a few more that I prefer. The hammer head was a little loose but a good twist takes care of that. Overall decent quality and a good deal.

This is a "made in china" product, so you get what you pay for, but it works. The storage bag is on the thin side, so it's handy for now but probably won't last long. The collection of tools, however, should make for a good starter set for hobbyists. They're not professional grade at all, but they'll make do.On a positive note, they must have run out of parts for this kit because I noticed the punch set was German-made and the leather cutter appears to be of Japanese make. Bonus. You can definitely tell a difference in quality versus the other tools in the kit. You might need one or two other tools that aren't included, like a stitch pony and a strap cutter and a sharpening strop board, otherwise it's a good starter set for beginners.
