Eh, it works...
This should not be confused with some accurate chuck. I would measure the run out, but my dial indicators would just laugh at me. I bought it to use in my electric screwdriver, and for that, it gives me a little more functionality and lets me lose my drill for less demanding tasks. The three jaws "dance" inside the collet as it is tightened. On a quality scale of "swiss watch" to "sunglasses sold by a woman(?) named Buck inside a NYC subway car", this rates a solid "Huffy bicycle on clearance".

The irony of this crap is that you can only use this chuck on a drill with a chuck!! It’s the only place it will stay and not fall out while one is concentrating trying to work. The hex chuck at the bottom where it’s supposed to catch on the impact driver is too long. I mean, one would think that the manufacturers are professionals and would know their stuff, but nah! Another group of individuals chasing an easy buck, basically successful at catching bees with with crap on a stick. The problem with their positive reviews and rating is that they are selling multiple items under the same banner, so they get away with selling garbage as treasure and Amazon doesn’t do anything about it.

FINALLY, the missing part from standard drill kits
We've all broken one or more of the small drill bits we need for starter holes. And many of us have wrapped a tiny drill bit in tape in an effort to get it to seat in a standard drill chuck. That latter solution is usually unsuccessful, producing an out- of-round effect as the bit wobbles as it turns. After breaking three small bits in a standard chuck and failing to find a way to get my one remaining tiny drill bit to seat, I ordered this chuck. When it arrived, I put it to work immediately. It is easy to hand tighten, holds the bit perfectly (no wobble) and looks like it is very solidly made. Further, it provides greater control and is easier to use with small bits because it projects an inch or so in front of the standard chuck and is of narrower diameter. I cannot believe I waited all these years to get one of these! Smart purchase and I look forward to a future of more successful starter holes.

Won't lock in to my Milwaukee drill. Hex shank is too long.
I really hate to type this as I really like this product, but I can't get it to lock into my Milwaukee M12 driver. I bought this to use on my N Scale model railroad. I'm using very small drill bits but I can't get this to lock in, so every time I try to back the drill bit out it falls out of my drill. As you can see from the attached pic, the part that locks in is longer than the other 2 pieces I show for reference. I really like this product but unless I can get this to lock in I can't use it. Except for this glitch this is a great chuck that will tighten down on the smallest bits and I don't notice any wobble. Hopefully the seller can help me out.

Not for use in a drill press
This chuck is virtually impossible to get to run true in a drill press. Yes it will hold a small drill but to drill accurately is out of the question. I would not recommend.Update: The vendor promptly responded to this review and offered a refund as well as UPDATED the product description to reflect that this micro chuck is not suitable for use in a drill press. I will raise the stars to four because of the excellent customer service of this vendor.I’m very happy with the fit and finish of this chuck it just didn’t work for my intended purpose. The reason the micro-chuck is not suitable is most all drill press chucks have 3 jaws (120 degrees). The area of the micro-chuck that these 3 jaws are suppose to grab is six sided (60 degrees) so you can never get a symmetrical hold on it to get it to run true.It would be great if the mfg offered a version of this micro-chuck that would work in a three jaw chuck!

Wobbly
This chuck is almost unusable. It's so wobbly it's almost impossible to start a drill with any accuracy. The problem is not with my drill, which spins a precision 1/4" x 4" long dowel with no visible wobble. When I insert the same dowel into this chuck, it wobbles about 1/4". This is the 3rd try, btw. I bought one a week or 2 earlier and it wobbled. Thinking it was a fluke, I bought another. Wobbles just the same. Months later, I bought a 3rd under another brand name, and it was the same chuck, precisely the same markings. And guess what, it wobbles too! I'm beginning to think all these chucks are factory seconds. Unless using for very rough work, I can't recommend this.

Migiwata - Quality manufacturing but poor design
Migiwata Keyless Aluminum Alloy Black Mini Chuck - The manufacturing quality of this chuck seems to be fine but the design is poor. The chuck jaws have no mechanism to cause them to retract or to center properly so it is very difficult to get a drill bit to run true. This was not an expensive item but it is nearly useless. I gather this is a common problem with these small chucks but I need a better solution because my Craftsman bench drill press won't grip drills smaller than about 1/8". The left hand threaded screw failed
I needed to convert SDS+ drill to a regular chuck drill to accommodate a very large bit. This item did this like a charm. I was drilling an old stump to treat with a chemical to accelerate stump rot. Drilling was easy but the large bit got stuck and had to be reversed out. Unfortunately, the little left handed screw used to prevent disassembly of the chuck wasn't up to the task and the threads very quickly stripped. I had to finish the job by reversing the bit by hand with a crescent wrench. I'm off to the hardware store to see if I can get another left hand thread "keeper" bolt, but I have low expectations of finding that odd item.

OK for the price, but not a great unit
Reasonable build quality. Holds drill, but shaft is very long for my screwdriver and causes the bit to wobble. Its OK for my current needs, but would not purchase again. I would look for a better unit.Update:Manufacturer was quick to respond to my concerns and offered a full refund. The issue was I ordered the unit with a longer shaft that I should have. The proper unit would have made the drill bit secure and stable.

Absolute trash
First issue is that the chuck jaws could not get a good grip on the drill bit, no matter how hard I tightened it.The second issue is that after about maybe 15 - 20 seconds of use, the back collar popped off. I pressed the collar back on and tried to loosen the chuck so I could take out my drill bit, which leads to the 3rd issue, the collar completely sheared off! The material used in this chuck seem to be cheese grade steel.I will be returning this chuck, along with my drill bit attached because I can't take it out.

I got a used and broken product, I returned it as soon I opened the box.
You can see the scratch in on the iron in the picture, it supposed to be new.The Chuck was stuck and not smooth when I tried to open and close, there was no sign of any fine grease as you can find in this type of products.I assume someone used it and returned it back with the original box, and no one checked the package.the reviews are not bad for this product, i may be unlucky, I will try to order again, i hope to get a new one next time, otherwise, i will return it again.

Budget tool, you get what you pay for.
Works quite well, I am glad I purchased this as it fits my budget needs.Would be better if it was square. The wobble for it being out of square is not that bad when using small bits but if you require percision them spend the extra money.

Solid for the price
worked great for using a mixer to mix thinset and grout. Only mixed quarter bag of thinset at a time and mixed with ease. Could probaly handle 1/2 bag at a time. Not sure if it would hold up to a full 50lb bag at once.
