Having the Right tool matters. Just works!
The kit was well designed and very easy to use. Star nut removal was probably the hardest part. The spacer sleeve kept the tap straight. 2 Steps forward (180° turn), 1 step back (90°) to break up the metal shavings. Don't try to rush it or it may bind and start cross threading then you are screwed :-) Plenty of tutorial vids on Youtube if needed. Stuff a paper towel down to keep shavings from getting all over, especially protect your forks. Then use shop vac to suck the junk out then push through the paper towel a couple more times. Use a bit of oil as lube. I used paper shredder lube. Once there, thread the cap on, tighten stem, and tap plug in. Good to go. Add some bling to the bike while you are at it. Cool colors so you tool stands out. One up has nice stuff.

Good kit, meh price.
This tap kit works perfect. Has everything you need to install the edc tool into your head tube. Sadly it’s priced fairly high for a onetime use item.

Pretty easy to use
Very easy to use this kit to thread your head tube to mount your OneUp EDC tool. Quality components and I'm sure it would allow me to use on multiple bikes.

This kit makes it almost impossible to do something wrong. Very well thought out, just read the instructions.

Expensive for a limit use
Works very well and easy to use. To bad you have to purchase to install the threaded top cap tool....but sometimes you gotta pay for nifty bike stuff. Talk your friends into the tool and rent this to them
