Q: Does the lid have a way of staying on? if its bumped does the "lid" just slide off?

There isn't anything to secure it, but the rimming of the pan and the pot align to kind of "lock" in place. Also feel that the "lid" is too heavy to just slide off.

Q: Is it good to do pull pork

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She uses it on her smoker. She just fixed Chili in it (on her smoker) last week. I'm sure pulled pork would be great. Cast iron is the only thing i cook with.
