Wanted a small WiFi ip camera, ordered at 10pm, got next day. It's pan tilt so can move via mobile phone, has SD card storage, and can view back ups on phone. Set up easy and also connected to my cctv NVR via WiFi so can record on my system 24hrs. Quick easy instructions, CD with pc software, can log on via ip address on pc and edit lots of settings. Email you on activation. Get a Network cable free in box. It's 1080p HD.

This was camera 13 for me and a different brand option. At first the overview was fantastic but I have been unable to get the replay option to operate although the steps are apparently simple to follow. In addition tI the most important feature mentioned already - the rotation of the camera angle is very slow. End of the day it has been a disappointment

Have three of these now, great camera, easy to set up and works across the internet, iPhone, Safari, Firefox and IE all fine. Much better than similar ones I've tried which say they are compatible but aren't.

Nice little camera, good for the money. Lots of the reviews here seem to be for a mixture of different models, so to be clear this one is for the £59.99 'Seesoon' IP dome camera (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078N5FBG7) used with the recommended 'P2PWIFICAM' app on an iPhone and iPad. I was pleased to discover that this model has motorised pan and tilt controlled from the app (a real bonus). Also relieved to find it has WiFi support as well as cat5 wired connection. Neither fact was terribly clear from the product page. As far as I can tell, it doesn't have zoom capability though. It worked straight out of the box and was pretty easy to get up and running once I'd downloaded the app and connected to its internal WiFi signal. Instructions were a bit superficial and covered three different models but I got the basic idea. Took me a while to work out that to pan and tilt you just swipe the appropriate direction on the displayed image. Daytime image is excellent; nighttime (IR) is also good but the night-time mode 'smears' quite badly - no good for recognising a face if the person was moving at walking speed. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a setting to adjust the shutter speed. Works fine with a micro-SD card on continuous recording but can also upload images to a server via FTP when triggered by motion detection (not yet tested). As far as I can tell the 'Format SD' button doesn't work however. Comes with a detachable steel mounting plate which made it quite easy to fit to a wall etc. Supplied with a 40cm cable that splits at the end into a power connector (12v barrel, centre +ve), Cat5 socket and remote reset button. This would probably work OK for an under-roof mounting but for a wall mounted location I used a junction box (see pic). The supplied PSU is a generic 12v/1.5A 'wall-wart' with a UK plug, but less than 1m of cable.

I suppose you get what you pay for, but the whole experience with this camera has been very negative - I have to say! Where to start? 1. The picture was nearly always in black and white, despite adjusting the settings ad nauseam! 2. When the picture did appear occasionally in colour, the image quality was appalling, in that is was pixelated and grainy (doubtful 1080p IMO!) 3. The app would not recognise my wifi network and so consequently failed to find the camera. (I had to connect it via ethernet to be able to get it working) 4. Trying to set the PTZ presets, caused the camera to crash and reboot (along with other cameras on the network) 5. Not actually PTZ as there is no optical zoom (so should really be described as PT/pan-tilt only) 6. Pan motor was very noisy and rattled/hummed when it reached mid point (doubtful it would last for very long!) I am desperately trying to drum up a positive point for this camera, but sadly can think of nothing to say. Don't know if I just got a bad one, or if the quality control is not up to par, but my advice would be to avoid this one and get something a little more expensive!

Bought this camera to replace some well known battery operated cameras. It seems that all HD wifi cameras suffer from the same problem. By the time they respond to a trigger event the subject being filmed has done a runner and you are lucky to get the back of their head. Response on this camera does just that. On top of that when first setting up camera it recorded events ok but after looking at list of recordings and watching some, the rest would not display then all the recordings disappeared. Did camera reset, formatted card and tried again. App showed dates of recording but unable to get anything off the camera to look at. Now camera will not record at all to card. Does show it has recorded to phone but nothing there. Same problem with still photos. Put camera on VGA and response is better when viewed on phone. That is nearly in real time but always reverts to HD for recording so no good. Manual control of the camera by the phone is so hit and miss as to be nearly useless. you think you have set it then it moves again because you got frustrated waiting for it to move. Night vision is a joke. 3 infra red LED's do nothing. When setting up there are controls called Z+,Z-, F+,F- What these do I have no idea as I could not see any effect when touching. suspect it should alter the picture somehow. another control is called presets and a grid of numbers. Again no idea what they do. When trying to get the manual my computer would not let me access it as unsafe but tried via phone and it looks like a general operating manual for all IP cameras. Didn't bother trying to read it as so frustrated with this camera. Only been fitted two days but will not be wasting any more time with it. will get something else like an always recording to hard disc system and then throw this in the skip. Don't recommend buying this or any IP wifi camera as this is now my 3rd try with these type of cameras and no success. Just not fast in response on HD.
