I've used this shampoo on my dogs for years not because they have allergies because they don't, but because it's a very mild shampoo that washes and rinses well. It also does not have a heavy scent. People often buy strong perfume smelling shampoo for their dogs which seems like it would be torture for the dog given they smell sooo much better than we do, it must be overwhelming for them.
