I recently installed the KUANYUOO Recliner Sofa and Chair Replacement Cable, and while I can’t speak to its long-term durability yet, I’m extremely happy with the product so far. Replacing a broken cable was quick and easy, especially with helpful video instructions available on YouTube. The key to ordering the correct cable is measuring the exposed length—from the end of the clip to the end of the Z hook. It’s tricky to do this while the cable is still in the chair, so if possible, measure the old cable directly. I specifically chose this product because it’s adjustable, and the adjustment process was simple thanks to clear instructions in the product listing. Great product, smooth installation, and a perfect fit! Will update on longevity, but for now, highly recommended!

Exact replacement for a Lane recliner. I used the 27 in, 2.5 inch with a perfect fit. Took maybe 15 min to unscrew 2 screws to remove the old and replace the new. Very easy.

After several attempts finally got the right one. Now all my recliners work and can continue to take the abuse of 6 kids again. It was super easy to install. Gett the old clip off was a challenge.

The items were fine but ended up having to order day before yesterday and entire different size Which not being a repair person had no clue recliner wires came different lengths, last time it was the actual handle that broke..it was some what simple to replace but the wiring is an entirely different animal...oh how my husband did great not to just chop the chair up into tiny pieces 😀 😊

Unfortunately, these cables did not work on my couch. The end with the little S bracket was too long, but it appeared to be pretty standard for most of the offerings on Amazon. I have purchased replacement parts that appear to be better suited to my old couch - which I already had in my saved for later Amazon cart. My fault for purchasing the ones I did.

Look closely at two parts of your broken cable that you’re trying to replace. You want to make sure the end (either a loop or a pin) matches yours. Also, a little ways down from the end: make sure the thicker part matches. This is the key - it attaches to the chair. Can be hard to slide on. I had to hammer mine with a hammer and then push. I ordered the wrong type first, having not taken the broken cable out of the bottom of my chair. Once I did, I matched mine to the images. The images posted are very clear. They do change with each length change, so look closely! Mine was an exact match and took only seconds to attach. (I didn’t bother to screw the handle in under the seat cushion - it works fine)

Had to order a miniature right-angle ratcheting screwdriver to get to the screws, so I didn't get this installed until a couple of weeks after I received it. My Lane couch and loveseat were purchased in 2013, and one of the four pulls just broke in January. This replacement looks like the original, but instead of lasting 12 years it lasted 3 weeks. Given the delay in installing, it's 3 days outside the return window, and there is absolutely no way to contact the seller. Everything I click on leads back to the Amazon AI chat which just sends me in circles.

Worked great as replacements on my couch and love seat

Bought these for my Ashley furniture that's aging and wearing out, but this cable fit exactly right without extending the length, took about 3 to 5 mins to install, didn't need to take off fabric and resew back, use the existing holes made for repair and in mins my recliner sofa was back and ready to use.
