A Nice Entry Level Gaming Laptop Suitable for many Purposes
I bought this laptop for the purpose of using it as a web server. It will also be my “multi purpose” PC. It met all the specs that I needed and then some. Primarily the CPU, Memory, GPU, IO ports and expandability. Being that it is a budget PC, the build quality is average. It is mostly plastic but is sturdy enough for my needs. The display is sufficiently bright, responsive and the visual quality is nice. The keyboard is backlit, and it has a number pad. I use the number pad while doing text editing so that was a bonus. Given that it will serve as a web server most of the time, I will be primarily controlling it remotely, so I won’t be using it “hands on”. I was able to get about 4 hours of non-stop YouTube streaming on battery power. A side note I feel worth mentioning is that if you are going to connect an unpowered external SSD to it, you will have to connect it to the USB-C port as the USB-A ports don’t provide enough power thus creating problems. This laptop surprised me. For its price, specifications, upgradeability and performance, it will suit my needs and then some. I would recommend it.

Solid gaming rig, uses barrel charger
Great mid level upgrade. So far it has handled every game I've thrown at it. It can run ultra graphics but the CPU fan starts to run more than I like.I use it for gaming, 3D part design, and every day work.Only con is that it uses a barrel style charging cable, which means getting a more portable charger isn't really an option. The charging cable (brick) it comes with is pretty large. I understand it takes a lot to charge it and keep it charged, but that's the only small thing I don't like.

Good enough
Runs EU4 well from early to mid game, even at speed 5 - I know its not the most demanding game but that's like the only thing I play, so this laptop fulfills my needs. I also rarely get any overheating issues, unless if I manually reduce the fan speed to make it less noisy. The build is somewhat flimsy, and the plastic feels cheap and gets easily damaged. The display is a bit desaturated for a gaming laptop, but its not too big of an issue, otherwise I have a few complaints about it:the display glare is bad. A pain in the arse if you want to game outside. The lowest brightness setting is still abit too bright, had to download a dimmer app offset this since I like gaming with my lights off. After about 6 months, the display started glitching. small horizontal black bars with discolored vertical bars started appeared, and it'd get worse as usage time increases. Now its difficult to even read stuff. So yeah not the most durable laptopin general, its functional and good enough for the price range, tho I had to splurge money on an external display to deal with the display issue.

⭐️ 1/5 (Would give 0 if I could) — DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP
This is by far the worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon.• Late delivery — already a bad start.• Packaging was awful — looked like it had been tossed around.• Then comes the real nightmare: the Acer Nitro 5 is unbelievably slow.I’m talking can’t even open Google Chrome without freezing.Forget gaming — I couldn’t even run basic apps. This is supposed to be a “gaming laptop”? It’s a joke. It’s not even usable for normal everyday tasks.Same day I returned to UsPS and my refund came after 15-20 days.Sound unbelivable it feels somebody doing home stuff at your hourse. Quality 0 software and hardware. Weight is heavy. Brightness okay.If I could give ZERO stars, I would.Don’t waste your time or money.Buy anything else — literally anything else is better than this.

Amazing performance for the price
Absolutely fantastic for the price!! I got this computer a year ago to play Helldivers 2, and while it can already handle games like that very well, I love how customizable it is to add extra storage. Speed is excellent, it's not a lightweight laptop and the battery life is pretty short (especially while gaming), so it's best as a stationary laptop kept plugged in. With a cooling pad beneath it, I have not had it overheat! Definitely needs a fan/cooling pad. Overall, excellent value for the price, absolutely recommend 👍

Great for budget gaming with laptop
Bought this used and love it! I can't say it will happen for everyone, but the used computer I got was practically brand new! Not a scratch anywhere. I was hesitant to buy it, but I am super glad I did! Please note that this is not going to be a rig that allows you to run "Ultra" settings on any game, but the portability and value make it a solid option. Pretty much no laptop will perform like a solid desktop, but the portability is well worth it.
