I tried a bunch of other sharpeners. Except for a wet stone. This seems to be the easiest and safest method for sharpening knives. Not having to hold an exact angle to sharpen on a wet stone makes for an enjoyable experience. The counter top case looks good and keeps everything together.

This knife sharpening system is fantastic! I have used it on all of kitchen knives, a WWII dagger I obtained from my grandfather, and have used it with limited success on a machete I picked up in Costa Rica. The only downside is if the blade is wide (like a cleaver), the roller does not reach the edge very well. I have had to get a little creative (block under the roller) to get to the edge. The sharpness that this system creates is incredible.

Works amazing just like the instructions and video, they do make it look a little easier for larger and or small knifes but overall completely satisfied and amazed at how sharp it can make a knife I have already sharpened some friends knifes and they have said that they paid before to get their blades that sharp

Biggest piece of junk I ever bought. Definitely not worth it, save your money

It is easy to use. It sharpens a knife quickly. On thinner blade’s like small pairing knives it may require moving the bale in the magnet or putting a cutting board under the knife to keep the edge of the blade positioned. For larger knives like chefs out carving it is very easy. It only needs a few strokes on each side of the blade to dress the edge of ask it needs is a touch up. For a dull knife I was done on less than 20 strokes per side. The leather strop works well to finish the blade or to just give a sharp blade a quick dressing.

Works well but not sure it works as well as I thought it would.

I bought one of these for myself and my son-in-law loved it so much that I got him one for his birthday. Pretty much idiot proof I have dull more knifes trying to sharpen them then I’ve gotten sharp, so this is a win. If you take your night someplace to get sharpened, this will definitely save you money in the long run

got it for my BF for xmas, he loves it. some of the duller knives take a little longer to sharpen up, but that should be expected.
