Quick shelf stable lunch to keep on hand for emergencies or busy days when time for lunch is limited. I keep a bunch in my work locker with individual wrapped: crackers, olives, cookies, beef jerky, cheese, etc…

This is Super Delicious salmon if you like salmon. According to my Heart Doctor's Physician Assistant this is good for your heart. Salmon is good for the heart. The extra virgin olive oil in it is also good for the heart This is also good stuff to eat out of the package. Very good food to have arounds in case of hurricane or some emergency. I would give these 5 stars but it loses a star because the price keeps going up on this. Otherwise, this is an excellent food.

The olive oil helps the moisture (no dry meat), and the pouch is great for on-the-go. Great to sub in tuna salad, and an excellent way to get your protein. Best way to stay full longer and eat healthy.

This is one of my absolute favorite backpacking or biking meals. It's pretty filling, and provides a lot of protein and energy. For the pack size, it's extremely energy dense. It tastes great on it's own, just cold out of the pouch. It's also great in a soft roll, and makes a very easy to prepare salmon sandwich.It's also perfect for adding to mac 'n cheese when camping. I don't like to pack butter when bike touring or backpacking, and the oils in this provides that missing component to the mac n cheese, while adding great flavor an additional nutrients. Fast, delicious, easy nutrients, can't go wrong. I've made many meals for friends using all of the pouch packaged tuna, chicken, and salmon options, this is always the crowd favorite.They stopped carrying this in all of my local grocery stores, so I'm glad it's still at least available here.

If it came in a can like tuna I would eat it, but the internal reflective mirror liner of the packaging and the micro-particles of it when tearing open that get in the salmon makes it too risky for someone who comprehends cumulative toxicology. It's really unfortunate because it tastes very good, once you drain all the oil out of the bag, which is difficult and not as easy as draining oil from a tuna can that the lid can be pressed down to squeeze it out. These salmon bags have no way to squeeze the oil out.

Excellent snack. Blend olive oil &salmon perfect
