Not Just A Patch Freestyle Libre 2 Sensor Covers (20 Pack) Lingo CGM Patches for Freestyle Libre 2 - Water Resistant & Durable for 10-14 Days - Multicolor

Purchased for use with Freestyle Libre 2 Plus after I found that the device would fall off after 45 minutes. I used the patch in conjunction with SkinTac wipes to ensure good adhesion and it did not disappoint. It was easy to apply and kept the device secure for the full 15 days of operation the Libre has. The patch did peel a small amount on one edge after about 6 days but a small application of more SkinTac and the edge stuck back down not coming off again. At the end of the 15 days the patch peeled off relatively easily although it did leave a mark on my skin for about 5 days after. Picture shows the patch at the end of 15 days use. Did the job for me so thumbs up.

Great for keeping my FreeStyle Libre sensor secure as well as adding extra moisture protection - though these are not waterproof. A couple of points - 1) Because of the strength of the glue any arm hair will be coming with the plaster when removed. I would suggest shaving before applying. 2) While, having left the centre piece covered, I was able to remove a plaster leaving the sensor in place I didn't feel confident this would be the case during the process, again due to the strength of the glue. I would not expect to be swapping patches regularly to colour coordinate with my outfits.

I thought I would try these, as they looked like some thought had gone into them from the blurb. Overall, pretty disappointed considering these are double the cost of the ones I normally buy. Firstly, these are larger than my normal ones - not necessarily a bad thing, as I thought it might provide better adhesion. But no, after 2 weeks, they looked just as bad. Not what I expected for the price (and not in a good way). Secondly, the pack comes with a leaflet with 7 steps for applying the patch and then on the back a lot of conditions for optimising the bonding of the patch, e.g. "3. The less active you are after applying the patch the better the chance...of bonding with your skin. Ideally, no exercise or sweating for 2 hours and even longer if possible. This bonding period is crucial to the next 10 days of patch adhesive ability. If you sweat within 2 hours after patch application, your patch is unlikely to last more than a few days." "4. Clothes rubbing on the patch within a few hours of application will also cause the patches to last shorter periods. Ideally no interaction with the patch within a few hours to ensure best sticking ability." And so on. So I'm guessing these are a no for people who sweat, and not much good in hot weather either. And make sure you have time to sit still and sleeveless for a couple of hours after application. It feels like a lot of disclaimers if it doesn't work for you, and the language holds the customer at fault. According to Not Just a Patch, If it doesn't work for you, it's not the fault of their patch, it's because you've done the wrong thing or have the wrong sort of skin. If you need that amount of instructions for what's basically a big plaster, then I think there's a usability problem. The photos show what mine looked like after 2 weeks. If you couldn't already tell, I won't be buying these again. I'm going back to my previous patches, which were smaller, have minimal instructions, and although they looked similar to NJaP after 2 weeks, they're half the price of these NJaP.

Honestly the best stick ever! On super hot days like we've had recently, it stays put! There was slight curling at the edge a couple of times but that's all - and for context, I suffer really bad in the heat and sweat a lot! Definitely the only patch for me, highly recommended!

I like the material of the patches and the variety of colours you can choose from. However, the stickiness isn't the best I have tried but ok. I always ensure that my skin is clean and dry before putting a libre and patch on and theybare very easy to use. The don't prevent the libre from scanning so its very effective. The only downfall is the longevity hence why I rated it a 4*

Absolutely Excellent!!!!! Our prayers answered!! - the answer to problem we've had for years. The sensors rarely lasted 2 weeks Which is minimum time the NHS allow and we have sent many sensors back to abbot for replacement who have been very good really. We thought it the problem with them stopping working after just a day, 2 days or a few days was a sensor issue but Richard is a farmer and not afraid to get stuck into jobs. Sliding around under a tractor the attach machinery or to fix it and often with his arms inside an engine. We are at sticker number 2 and 3 weeks in, in one of the busiest times of the year and a time week really need it to work when he's been driving right through the night, and no issues!!! so all good *****

Libre wearer here - I applied the plaster no problem (decided not to leave the paper on as it was stiff and would have been uncomfortable and figured big of extra stick isn’t a bad thing). Then went about my day as usual, 2 hours in it was lifting at the edges and fraying (I made sure to clean and dry my arm before applying just to be safe, I also do a desk job so not like I’m moving a lot and getting hot and sweaty) After 5 hours it was completely lifted on one side and and it washed off in the shower. I was pretty gutted especially for the price. Ok for temporary use of a couple hours but not if you need it to secure your sensor for any length of time

Genuine review from a user/buyer These patches work fantastic over my Freestyle libre 2+ cgm. You need to make sure you use a pH and perfume free soap to wash your arm really well first, let it fully dry and then use and alcohol wipe to thoroughly clean the whole area around where your libre and patch are going to be placed. I have found the patches last the full 15 day's. They actually take some real pulling to get off with the adhesive when my sensor needs changing. I'm a bit confused why people say they don't work as I've not had a single problem. I think they are worth every penny as they are waterproof for showers and swimming and they have really protected my libre from coming off when changing clothes or simply moving around. Id honestly not look at any other brand as these suit my purpose perfectly and they can save your cgm as honestly without the patches I'd definitely of lost one by now. So far I haven't lost a single one thanks to these! Easy to apply and I remove the centre patch so it directly sticks to the cgm and my skin( this is optional). This is what works for me though. No irritation at all and using a mirror helps with the application part. Really wish they did some more colours or patterns as I mix my colours up. Why blend in? Honestly though, don't look anywhere else for patches for your libre2 plus!

It's great quality, lasts throughout the cgm's life and I go to the gym and shower everyday, sometimes more than once It's going to be a stable in my diabetes management supplies

It sure does stick. Water proof is correct whack of a time taking them off even with soaking it. Does the job for sure!

Works great. Lasts way longer than any other Libre 2 covers I have used. I can play soccer, go to work, and shower without a worry of it falling off. May need another person to aid in application, but it is worth it. Lays flat and adheres to the skin extremely well.
