I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and this holder fits better over the camera with my case on. There appear to be some small areas that could end up as light leaks if that's important to what you're using the filter for. It's better than the clip on types I've seen and can use 67mm filters. there are thin silicone pads on the ring are screw back to help prevent scratching your phone and I assume to help grip the filter holder onto your phone. I haven't tested it extensively, but will give it a whirl when I go on travel and update this review.

Purchased this for the April 2024 eclipse viewing. Took some test photos on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. One regular photo and one zoomed in. Also purchased a 100,000 NF filter from neewer that screws onto this. This blocked out all surrounding light. The tightening screw has a rubber bumper that protects the phone screen glass from scratches. This went over my existing phone case. Worked like a charm. It did sometimes block the front camera for Face ID so I just used the pin to unlock my phone. The rubber bumper did not affect the touch controls on the screen. Pinch zoom etc all works perfectly fine. Good investment (to get these photos, I touch-focused on the sun in the sky, then darkened the screen to its darkest setting by touching the “sun” icon and lowering the brightness all the way down.)

Let's get the negative out of the way. It has two points of contact and the screw clamp is too high up for it to be ultra secure. However, given the other options on the market this is probably the nicer ones and the larger 67mm filter helps cover all the cameras without adjusting. The side blinders help 100% block reflections from behind. Which is an issue I had with my last filter clip. Best use cases: on a tripod, gimbal or selfiestick where you want to lock your frame rate for video and properly expose your image. Although the clamp is fairly secure in these instances, definitely need to take off for when using your phone as a phone or when putting your phone away.

Doesn't fit precisely with some cases due to the lip needing to rest of the raised camera bump. Ended up opting for a mag safe option but this would have been far more functional as it has a shoe mount.

Great product, it fits my iPhone with its bulky UAG case. The filter adapter comes in a nice protective case too.

I have an iPhone case that is 15.5 millimeters thick, so I bought this filter mount with some trepidation, expecting to have to return it if it didn't fit my phone's case (which I was not willing to remove or replace if it didn't fit). But to my very pleasant surprise, it fits beautifully and doesn't require any effort at all to mount and unmount. It works great with a 67mm polarizing filter that I already owned, and the mount fits snuggly and securely on my phone. Plus: the padded thumb screw secures it completely without scratching the screen. Highly recommended! And just ignore the "13mm" opening. It is significantly wider than that!

Mount work well to add filters if you're not running a case and going bare phone. If you have an otter box or a speck style case, they are too bulky for it to fit over. I also don't care for the clamp obstructing the screen and it would have a tendency to move if not clamped down extremely tight. That's the issue with all the clamp style mounts. It does work well for what it is, it's just not a design I care for or find usable for me. 4 stars because it's not a bad product.

Good. But its hard to fit on iPhone 17 pro/pro max due to the camera shape also for those large camera models like vivo and Oneplus etc.

I use it for 13 pro max iPhone with MagSafe cover on. It holds its position well. The included info with the product is not accurate, it does open more than 13mm.. I would advise it to my friends.
