Free your heavy microphone from the stand
Didn’t realise how much I needed this until I got one. Means you can easily switch mics over. I thought I was stuck with my Røde NTK microphone on the stand but this helps free it quickly. Will probably buy more if they go on sale again.

Essential studio time saver
This should be standard on all mics as it saves loads of time by not having to continually screw and unscrew the mic holders, AND reduces the wear and tear of the threads (and adapters) of the stands & clamps. Works well, feels sturdy, I've got six of them now for 3x mic stands and a stereo bar. They all fit securely and are very sturdy.The only thing that would make this product better would be to sell the 'mic end' pieces individually for cheaper - as all of my stands now have the adapters, but each new mic needs a one of these to fit the rig now. Multipacks would also be a bonus!

Easy release, and acts as a spacer too
I bought this because the XLR fitting on my Shure SM7B was really tight up against the microphone boom arm. The choices were to get a flat/90-degree XLR but I'd not managed to find one. This sits between the boom arm and the SM7B, moving it away by about 4" and restoring full adjustment. Job done!

Secure quick release, easy to use.
I bought this to act as a short spacer for my SM7b. Fits well, quick release seems secure. I bought a second for a condenser so I can switch mics with less screwing. Works well.

Very Impressed!
Great product - I invested in a Shure Super 55 microphone and worried about ruining the threads screwing / unscrewing it from my stand at every show. This little beauty eliminates that problem (once each end is screwed to your stand and mic thread) and now I simply just push a button to remove my mic - Easy!

Bad value for money, poor quality construction
The thing is not well-engineered and not rock solid. It's somewhat flimsy and the button is poor. If used on stage or if live in any other way it would not be a smooth, quiet or easy movement to take on and off a stand. If you want to fit it and forget it then it would suffice.
