Q: Do these work with 9/125 Micron fiber ?

Yes, these LC quick assembly connectors work with single mode 9/125 fiber. But usually applicable for 2.0x3.0mm butterfly fiber cable.

Q: What tools are required to install these?

A fiber cutter and a fiber coating stripper are necessary which you can find from our Amazon store. And depending on cable types, Miller pliers are needed for 3.0mm,2.0mm and 0.9mm round cable, or cable stripper is needed for butterfly cable.

Q: What is the "v-slot switch"? the instruction sheet says "make sure that the v-slot switch is at the end." does anyone know what that means?

Sorry for the misunderstanding. There is a switch on the side of the connector. means that let the switch open before insert the fiber and switch off after inserted. Please follow the assemble video online to install.

Q: Will these work with 62.6/125 mm fiber?

Thanks for the question. To be honest, the fiber of this connector is 50/125 multimode fiber. If the requirement of insertion loss are not very strict, these work with 62.5/125 MM fiber too. The insertion loss would be a little higher than 50/125 fiber.
