Used this to upgrade an old Surefire P6 lamp and button feature. Be realistic and do not expect this item to turn a 2007-era P6 into a handheld version of the Surefire X300 Turbo. It has the same light output of about 100lumens, cleaner light flood, smooth light print on a wall, better and easier light activation on the tail cap. Better clicking compared to the older and worn out one. For now, clicks, activates and stays on as intended. Works well for an update to an older light that does not washout to a blinding light against a white wall. Your situation may be different.

Works perfectly! Light is much, much brighter! Button works much better than twisting the lens. Great price, worth every dollar. Easy to do the upgrade!

Ever since I was in the US Army, I have used Nite Ize products. I used to carry two of the little AA battery sized flashlights under the Army's policy of "2 is 1, 1 is none." Always have a spare. The little AA Maglite flashlights with this kit installed last longer (LEDs use less power) and are significantly brighter than the stock bulb. The kit is durable and nearly soldier-proof and a good value for the money upgrading a cheap flashlight. Installation is so easy even a caveman could do it. My only complaint is the size as the LED bulbs hit the flashlight lens cover and bends it when in the off position.

The Mini MagLite AA LED bulb Upgrade was a great investment in bringing a brighter light to the flashlight. After replacing the switch that the lamp plugs into with a repair kit, the switch over to a brighter LED bulb was a great improvement. With this LED replacement light kit it includes a push button on/off switch that changes the on/off function to a push button instead of the original twist on & off function. The light focus feature remains the same.

I have bought two of these, to upgrade two old mini Maglites. This product does works as advertised, this is just a heads up. I would not buy this again. I contacted Nite Ize customer support to see about purchasing extra light bulbs, because I could not find their bulbs for sale either on Amazon or their own website. Nite Ize support sent back, saying this product can only be purchased as a kit. So there is no way to buy just their bulbs. So when the bulbs burn out you are left with purchasing a $22.00 kit again. Bulbs are also a Nite Ize exclusive bulb, no other way to buy them. What a scam, very crappy trick on their customers. Hope this is helpful. Beware!!!

These have given new life to my old maglites. I had several of the AA style flashlights from years past and they were just collecting dust due to poor light performance. Back in the day, maglites were the best you could get, but now with high lumen leds, they have been left behind. This allowed me to upgrade my old faithful lights to bring them up to present day. I enjoy the battery life I am getting and the amount of light that my flashlights output now. Definitely worth it!
