Fantastic Quality
I rarely feel compelled to write reviews on Amazon, since most stuff is so mediocre. If it's horrible and hazardous, I'll leave a review to warn folks. And occasionally when something is super awesome- but there are many similar items on here, I will chime in: hence, here we are. This is my first time making madeleines, and I needee minis, because they're going to be part of a ridiculous cake for a friend. I haven't used any from-scratch recipes yet, just testing the stuff I need for said bday cake. But so far, using a standard gluten-free chocolate cake box mix.... this pan is amazing! It's mostly non-stick, but when I lightly buttered it- the madelines slid out with perfect lines. I tried a batch without butter, and they did stick ever so slightly so they came out, but bits of detail were lost. Buttered is better. Super cute. They take mere minutes to bake. They puff up perfectly and cool off quickly. I love it so much that I just ordered a second pan even though I don't need it for the cake. ☺️ Seems to be a very well made pan. But because of the coating, I'd suggest careful handwashing, or maybe a lower heat dishwasher cycle. I'll be handwashing mine.

Great nonstick pan
I'd originally wanted a non-coated pan for my madeleines as I don't like non-stick coatings. Unfortunately I didn't find any suitable ones, so I had to opt for nonstick. The pan is actually the colour as shown in the photo, I thought that it only looked grey because of the lighting, and that the pan itself would be black. This is a good thing, because it means the pan doesn't brown the bottoms of the madeleines as much as if it were black.I made my first batch of trial madeleines within two hours of opening the package, and in the rush, I forgot to oil the first two cups. Turns out I had nothing to worry about; the madeleines slid right out without even waiting for them to cool. Next time I'll be able to skip the oiling step which is great (although I wouldn't mind doing it on an uncoated pan). The bottoms were nicely browned, the centres were cooked well, and the tops were nice and golden. Very nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. One slight issue I have and which I have not knocked any stars off for (because it is likely down to my lack of experience, not the pan's fault), is that the edge of the madeleine browns far too quickly compared to the rest of the madeleine, so it almost looks burnt whilst the rest of the cake is perfect. I'd be interested to know if this is actually due to the pan, and will do some more testing.

JUST BUY IT!
The media could not be loaded. This pan is awesome! The nonstick essence is wonderful, even if I did not grease and flour the pan the madeleines would still come out so easy. Best purchase!!

Great quality and very good design!
I like these baking madeleines molds particularly because they have area of about 1 inch to grab them, and this makes a lot easier to handle them when baking! This is convenient and important for not to burn oneself or not messed up the madeleine with the gloves when handling.

Picture-perfect Madeleines
I was only able to use it once so far, but I had absolutely no problem with my madeleines sticking. They came out so picture-perfect! I think the trick is to melt butter in a saucepan (or in the microwave), and brush it on evenly over the tray, paying pretty careful attention to get it in all of the grooves. Then, sprinkle flour over the pan, and shake excess off so that all indents have a light, even dusting. Be careful not to add too much flour however, or else it will affect the bake and the taste in the end. Lastly, pop the tray in the fridge for half an hour, and you will not be disappointed with the final results!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this pan and happy I chose this one. The madeleine's came out perfect on the first try. The shape and line detail were just right.
