Carbide blades cut bricks nicely and common rocks as well
Woody plants, small and large had grown into a chain link metal fence. Fire would destroy the galvanizing on the heavy wire fence, resulting in the onset of rusting within the year. Not acceptable. Chainsaws and chainlink fencing don't play well together. Battery and corded circular saws present the problem of blade selection. Coarse tooth blades cut wood well but snag on contacting wire. Smooth abrasive disc blades can cut wire fencing well but require so much time to cut wood that it's a deal breaker. Axe cuts wood but is damaged by striking steel wire fencing. "What's a mother to do?" Carbide reciprocating saw blades cut both wood and wire slowly but steadily. Need to pass through some soil or even encounter some rocks? Carbide blades cut bricks nicely and common rocks as well. Anyway, this uncommon use for these blades is a task match that's tough be beat.

One tough blade
Use for cutting stump roots all around the stump, then the stump usually lifts right out. Have done up to 14 inch stumps. Just be careful not to apply too much down pressure or the blade could brake where it connects to the saw.

It is a beast
It is a beast. Worth every penny. I was having cut 2x6 deck boards by cutting through the screws-perfect blade.

Might last forever, never found out, doesn't cut for Shhh through wood the normal axes did with ease
Was disassembling an old barn, burned up two of the regular bimetallic ax blades but cut well. Figured a carbide would cut through the sheething like butter, took three times longer to get through a 1x6 pine. Never again.
