I bought this set of 5 extra-large ice block molds specifically to use with a cold plunge tub, and they work very well. The blocks freeze solid, are easy to remove, and melt slowly, which helps keep the water cold much longer than regular ice cubes. However, if you're using these molds for cold water immersion therapy, I highly recommend getting at least 3 sets (15 blocks total). With just 5 blocks, the effect isn’t strong enough to significantly drop the water temperature or maintain it in the optimal cold range for long. I tested it myself and ended up ordering more — once I had 15, the experience was exactly what I was aiming for. The molds are sturdy, easy to fill and reuse, and they keep their shape after multiple uses. They’d also be great for parties, coolers, or large drink containers, but if you’re serious about cold plunging, go ahead and get multiple kits from the start. Very solid product, just be sure to scale up based on your purpose.

You pour in water and stick it in the freezer and it makes a brick. Then you take it out. I mean, you can't really ask it to do more than that. It works well. It's silicone, so it's dead simple to get the brick out.

In a good freezer you can freeze it overnight and have fresh ice everyday, silicone is good quality and releases very easily

I bought these ice brick molds specifically to use for ice baths, and I’m really happy with them! They’re exactly what I needed—large, solid molds that make big bricks of ice, not just little cubes. Each brick lasts a good amount of time in the tub and helps keep the water cold longer, which is exactly the goal. The molds themselves feel sturdy and well-made. They’re easy to fill and even easier to pop the ice out of once frozen. I was a little worried about them sticking or cracking, but I haven’t had any issues at all. They also don’t take up a ton of freezer space considering the size of the bricks, which is a bonus. Overall, they’re a great tool if you’re doing ice baths regularly or just want big blocks of ice for keeping things cold. I use these for my ice chest and they work just fine. Size is just perfect for what I use it for. They seem to hold their shape pretty well and I fill them pretty full.

I love these ice cube molds highly recommend them I will freeze them before the party a week before and have a deep freezer ready because these blocks are awesome I love them I highly recommend them

Works great for making ice blocks for my cold plunge. Only downside is the silicone seems to flake off, and it give my cold plunge the appearance of being dirty. Works well if you want to save a buck, but I would not buy again.

These are perfect, I’ve been using mine to make ice and throw them into my ice bath but I have some extra ones that I am looking to use them for baking. Looking forward to giving that a try. Highly recommend this product.
