Just enough
Love that this "Ranchera" comes in a small can. It has a wonderful taste and texture and just a bit spicy hot. No more waste because I could not finish most of the salsa sold in jars bacause I could not use it up fast enough and had to throw about half that was too old in the trash.

SO much flavor in this little jar/can!
This is a great low-calorie option to add a bang of flavor to your food! Tastes just like enchilada ranchero sauce. Has a mild smokey-chipotle flavor. Just perfect.

Great Salsa
Used this on huevos rancheras and loved the flavor. Too pricey for a tiny can.

Hot, thick, and yummy
I just tried my first ranchera salsa from a small can for snacking with chips. It was surprisingly good. It's a smooth, deep dark colored salsa. A little goes a long way bc of the kick. I melted some cheese on top of chips, topped with chopped tomatoes, and drizzled this salsa on top. I only used 1/3 of a small 7oz can, I thought at first I would eat it all (a full can this size was only 60 calories). This is 'the' ranchera sauce for huevos rancheros, drizzled on top of fried eggs. I can see using this salsa in many ways, to add to other salsas you might use, to kick it up a notch, to steaks, etc.. I would recommend it.

Not what I expected
Was not what I expected. Too thick for one thing. It might have the flavor, warmth and thickness for someone whoโs palate is not as sensitive as mine.

Its not the product, but the message and what you get
The sauce is the right brand, not expired. But I ended up paying $9.50 for one can....thinking I would get 3 cans. Better off making my own when I can't find it in the store.

The Best Salsa !
On one of my many trips south of the Border, actually my first trip down to the Baja ! Previously , I had enjoyed train and busing it aeround the Oacaxa Palenque , Merida to Isle Mujeres areas. so hear we are in the midway town of LaPaz , camped out in our tent in what's more a Winnebago or Caravan kind of place, but we did have the HONDA Civic....Actually ,we got real good at putting up our tent. Our friendly neighbors invited us for beer and margaritas , but I like my TQillya straight back then , before I knew any better I guess. After drinking and talkin' , our hostess put out some tortillia chips and the littlest can of ,she said salsa. I said I never saw a salsa in a can , querying more I said its probably tinny ! Well, not at all , what I tasted was one of the best tasting chunky enuff, moderate on the heat, smooth tasting salsas I ever had tried . Get some and try it for yourself, we all can't be liking the same things , else we'd get caught up in the rush!!!!
