Did not work for my headlights. Headlights won’t switch to high beams.

This worked great! My Fog lights would turn on, but also turn on my high beams at the same time. So if I needed my fog lights while running my low beam headlights, my high beams would turn on. This decoder fixed the problem. I can turn my fog lights on and off with out any problems. My high beams turn on when I need them. Everything works normal like it was designed by the factory.

Fixed the random flickering (unusable) on new Dracarys LED headlights on my truck. 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Factory lights were halogen. Troubleshooting steps I took: 1. Purchased and installed a relay harness - Failed (lights would strobe in unison) 2. Purchased and installed two 6 ohm resistors - Failed (but better, no flicker with key off - fast flicker with truck running) 3. Purchased and installed this D-Lumina 9007 Decoder - Success!

Worked for my 2002 Toyota Tundra. LED headlight bulbs caused the fog lights to not work and when the fog light button was pressed the high beams came on and there was no high beam indicator light on the dash. I installed 1 as other people stated you only needed one on the passenger side headlight. This did not work! I would still get high beam with the fog light button from 1 headlight. I ended up installing both and it resolved my issue. Only negative is that the cord length is very short approx. 5" which doesn't give you a lot of options to mount the resistor. I was able to use the frame above the headlight with some zip ties, but it is a tight fit. Wish the cords were at least double in length.

I picked this product based on it promised to remove the dashboard warning of my 2004 P2 Volvo when I upgraded the low beam bulbs from Halogen, to LED. It failed to remove the "low beam" failure, prevented the Daytime Running light mode from working, actually created a flickering behavior while at idle, amd decreased the output of my new LED bulbs by a visual estimate of approximately 10%. +1 star for ease of installation.

I installed this decoder to fix a slight flicker I was getting in my high beam bulbs when they were running as daytime running lights (DRLs) on my 2007 Toyota Camry. It worked exactly as expected — the flicker is completely gone on the side where I installed the decoder. To test it, I recorded a short video: the left headlight (without the decoder) still shows a faint flicker, while the right one (with the decoder) is perfectly stable. The difference is clear. If you’re upgrading to LED bulbs and notice any flickering, especially in DRL mode, this little unit is definitely worth it.

This solved my Canbus error in the VW. Much preferred over the low tech load resisor solution (if it works which it didn't in my VW). Just gets warm in operation and therefore does not require any special mounting considerations. Connectors and wiring are high quality and very rugged.
